Well i was somewhat disappointed by conspiracy of one but splinter has renewed my faith in the offspring. It has an excellent mix of slower and faster tracks with the traditional Offspring style and flare. It's proof that the band hasn't lost their creative edge and the songs "the noose", "long way home", "hit that", "never gonna find me", and "lightning rod" are my favorites but i liked all of them. The only one i didn't care so much about was neocon. Some songs you might not like at first but they grow on you after a couple listens ("Spare me the details" and "the worst hangover ever"). Overall pretty good Cd (and there are some enhanced cd stuff like wallpaper, videos etc) and worth the purchase.

Dood..Conspiracy of one was WAY better than Splinter.
Only half the CD is worthwhile the other half is just songs in-between the good half. |

Conspiracy was alright. The songs were alright it just wasnt what i was expecting. It seemed more pop to me. |

I picked this CD up a while ago, and I love it. I've become a pretty big Offspring fan lately, although I only own Smash (which is incredible) and Splinter. I really like the Noose though, and Spare Me the Details. |
