Wow... That's why I mainly hate going to movies with dipsh1ts like that. People are so self-centered and they don't even care who else is around them, it's all about them. I mean, that is extremely rude! And you've got to think that some people would be smart enough to even LOOK at the rating of the movie, read a review, and decide whether or not, if thier tiny little brain can even procress, to go see it, and to see if their family can.

Cell phones are the worst! Even Doot's and my's dad once forgot to turn it off and he got two calls, but he quickly hung up on them. Silly Bridgebuilders xD Anyways... Do you think you can live without your cell phone for at least two hours? I mean, if it's THAT important than:

1. Don't go see the movie
2. Have it on vibrate, take it outside and don't be rude.

Haven't seen it, but me and my friends went and saw Secret Window. At the beginning of the show we made some goofy remarks, but for the most part we kept shut up. YOu can blame MST3K for those kinds of people though. I did that all the way through The Faculty, but we had other people in the audience laughing bad and coming up with there own comments, but I'm sure it pissed off somebody. I highly reccomend Secret Window. I thought it was an awsome movie, though the very very very last scene is kind of dumb. All in all, a cool movie. Don't expect to be stumped on what's going on either, that's given away about halfway through, or if you are trying to guess, it has passed through your mind, I guarentee it. STILL, after all of that, I love the movie. I'll probably buy it after it comes out on DVD. Johnny Depp is cool, too. I can't wait for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory remake to be released, as well as his second Pirates of the Carribean. (sp?)

Hes doing another PotC? Rock on, Jack Sparrow was too cool of a character to just do once, you know. Johnny Depp has such charaisma! But Im with the Mak-Sak, how hard is it to turn on 'vibrate'? Every theater has a litle speil before the movie telling you to turn your cell phone to vibrate or turn it off.

Infinatly more annoying are laser pointers. At the very least, people making comments during the movie *cuts eyes over to Terin* aren't dilibrately trying to ruin the movie for you. Laser pointers sole existance is to piss people off, methinks. And to play with cats.

A lot of so-called Christians, I have noticed, are all great and kind at church, then go and behave the worst of all types of people outside of church. I have nothing against religion, but a hypocrite of any sort is scum as far as I am concerned. If you are going to profess a belief in something, be TRUE to that belief! If you are true to whatever you believe in, I may not agree with you, but I WILL respect you.

If you don't really believe in something or don't want to follow that belief, then don't pretend you believe in it. I believe in bits and pieces from a lot of different religions, but I don't proclaim to be a follower of any religion because I do not believe in every piece of any one religion! If I had to pick a few I most believed in it would be Buddhism and Paganism; respecting all life, all life being tied together, that sort of thing. Blame it on my martial arts training, but I really do believe that every thing is connected by ki energy. If I were good enough at sensing it, I believe I could sense the very small amount of energy put off by moss on a rock on the other side of the world.

Anyway, back to movies. Yes, children do NOT belong in R rated movies. There is a reason for the rating system. Most young children are not mentally capable of seeing and digesting such graphic scenes. Can we say "nightmares?" Not only that, but a screaming child should be removed no matter what. That should be common courtesy. Of course, people really hardly even know the meaning of that word. "Cur-teh-say? What's that? Is it some sort of French meal?" That is part of the reason that I prefer to stay home and watch a movie on our TV. We have a nice sound system, and the only noise we have to deal with is the cat mewling for dinner even though we already fed him. Plus I can get all cuddly with Excel. >^_^<

You need to come prepared when you go see a movie. Bring lots of small objects to fling at offenders. After getting pelted by several pennies in the face, they get the picture.

But seriously...I know that this thread is old, but I saw Kill Bill 2 the other day with Tobs. We were commenting through the movie, but we were quiet about it. There were two ghetto girls behind us though who felt the need to practically yell crap. Various times I turned around with the trademark Ming venom look, but it was too dark...hence why throwing things is good. I can't tolerate rudeness, especially when it infringes on something that I pay a damn premium to be at.
