Kai vs. Reverend - training...

[Kai]

Kai meandered into the arena. He had never been here before and the very walls seemed ominous. He played with his foot in the dust.
Kai pulled out his katanas. "I want to train!" He yells to the arena "And don't take me lightly!" He moves the blades. "I am no weakling!"

OOC: First to post with the intent to fight get's it. After that, it's just the two of us. There of course can be spectators.

Airius had been walking past the Miniopian Arena when he had heard the yell from a challenger he had yet to meet. Hmm...I could just pass by, but what if someone like Azurel or Ming heard him? Would Mod really want to risk hurting this person to keep them from further harm?

The second call came, and Airius looked around to find anybody else who might be able to challenge the new combatant.

"Guess it's just my luck to be walking by now, and Mod knows I need the exercise."

So Airius turned to stride into the arena, the sound of his footsteps making a dull thud on the arena floor.

"If you want to train, I am willing to be a sparring partner."

[Tobias]

Tobias walks by, and smiles: "Good to see the holy man back in the fighting mood!"

Tobias goes to watch from the entrance, leaning up against the door molding

[Kai]

"I'm willing to train. I'm not very good though... and these heels..."




ooc: Ok so I know thins is confuseing but there are two of my fight threads. i (at first) accidently doubble posted. Then I was training with Tobias. Which was cool. Then Rev PMs me and asks me if he could fight me too. And so I said yes. So I'm technically fighting both of you at the same time. See this is the thread where I fight Rev and the other is for fighting Tobias. Can that work please?

OOC: Of course, it's not uncommon at all! Lets have some fun

BIC: "If you don't train you won't be good, just ask Tobias over there about it later." Airius brings Ruler into his hand and settles himself into a fighting stance. "Draw your weapons."

[Kai]

*gets out katanas and assumes his fighting stance.* Wait... Hold on... *kicks off his shoes* Better...

[Reverend]

"If you say so." Airius dashes as his opponent, Ruler raised to strike down at Kai's left shoulder

[Kai]

*Moves to dodge, steps on a rock, and hops backward* Ow Ow Ow....

[Reverend]

*Stares at Kai, slightly dumbfounded

"I can see why you want the practice, so you better get ready!"

*Launches himself at Kai again, bringing Ruler across his body from right to left in a batting swing

[Kai]

*blocks with his own sword* Yay I did it!
