Green Faye needs advice badly.

I have somewhat of a dilemma.

As you all know Dai and I have been working on this RPG for about the past month. Well since it is taking up most of our time we have been thinking of cancelling our Content IDs on FFXI to save ourselves 13 bucks a month.

Dai and I have been discussing quiting the game all together for various reasons and Dai has already made up his mind. In the process has made me seriously consider quitting after dumping a 200 dollar video card into my computer, just to run it. Then to put icing on the cake I was reading Dom's (Megatokyo) current rant about CoH. He makes it sound like its 10 times the game FFXI is.

I need some thoughts. I know I wont be playing FFXI until after AWA, and even then there are so many new games, that I want to play, coming out for PS2 right after AWA. I am not even sure I will play it then, after being away so long.

I am a big party fanatic, and am big on Co-op games. But I still cant help but be kinda disappointed with FFXI. It takes so long to get anywhere, to level, and everyone looks the same. How hard would it have been for squenix to allow you to customize your character or at least allow you to change the color of your Equipment. Granted I am only level 6/3 atm.

I guess what I am asking is..... do you think it is worth 13 bucks a month to give it another chance or should I just cancel it now and wait for WoW or maybe even try out CoH since it will only cost me 13 bucks once.

First off you should really read the FFXI debate in Online gaming.

Second this should be in on-line gaming forum...

Third...CoH is mucho fun now that I have found the combination that gives me laser eyes! I lubs laser eyes!

ACK!!! I am SOOOOOO sorry. I didn't even think about the Online gaming board. I am at your desposal Az, but I wish you would just move it. I am really indecisive about this. I just logged on to get all of Dai's stuff from him right before he deleted and to be perfectly honest..... I wanted to keep playing.

I had all but decided to delete my ID and just wait for WoW, but as soon as I logged on I was captivated by the brilliance that is FFXI. HELP!!!!! Must.... force ...... self ...... to..... work on....RPG.

its really a personal choice, I still have not gotten tired of FFXI. WHen I get bored or have nothing to do really, ornot enough time to party, Ill just change to a lower lvl job and mess around with it to see waht skills and abilities it has. That is part of what has kept me "fresh" in the game, as well as meeting just really awesome people on a daily basis. Unfortunately everyone has different experiences when playing =\ so just really look at the fun you're having, not something (that seems minor to me) like character creation. Yes i would have loved a more in depth character creation. BUT how you play your character, can be enough to make you stand out and be remembered, not how you look. Thats just my opinion tho.
