I have found a new place to buy my games.
EB just lost my business and here is why.
I have a gamespot complete membership which gets you 10% off. That was great when they had no taxes and a free shipping option. Now they don't.
Not only that, but if they offer free shipping, or in store pickup or something like that, I can't use my 10% off (WHICH I PAID FOR) and that option which they give to everyone free!
So now, I get 10% off, then it get's tacked right back on with the shipping and tax charges.
So now... I'm going to

I just order Growlanser Generations Deluxe from them. EB has it listed for $90!!!! Overstock has it for $75!!!! Not only that, but the same shipping EB charges $3 for (their cheapest shipping now) overstock charges $1.40. And no taxes.
Just wanted everyone to know. They average about $5 less on EVERY GAME out.

Well i'm going to buy a lot of my stuff from them now.
Much better deal.
Not only that, but with my Gamespot membership ($25) I get 10% off eb stuff. But they charge you <= $3 shipping and 8% taxes
Overstock has the O club ($30) and you get 5% off everything and $1 shipping on everything. That combined with their already discounted prices and the fact they don't charge tax, that's easily more than 10% off eb! Plus you could get the same discount on everything else they sell.

I usually stick to Ebay but it does take time to find what you want at the price you want. I will check out Overstock tho. Good looking out, Shino! |
