So there's been talk of some PO's maybe taking in an extra convention or so just to hang out and enjoy the con instead of working it. Well I'm thinking that I'm heading to Texas for AKON next year. So here lies all the information you may need if you'd like to attend.

Single through quad (Standard room most attendees get) - $149/night
Club Double/Double - Single and Double - $177/night, Triple and Quad - $212/night

Tax per night per room is 15%
(not sure what Club consists of, but after AWA this year...A fridge would be nice.)

I see youve chosen to insult me directly by not automatically putting down myself and Aradia on attending. The odds are surpasing that Shinigami, Faye, and Sebastian will be there as well. But Ill let them reprimand you individually. |

I reeeeeeeeeeaaaally want to go. But it all hinges on my financial situation after the move. I'm already setting aside money for conventions next year, but as of right now AWA is my top priority. Although I already have $170 set aside =D (I came home from AWA, and a magical NINJA paycheck from Victoria's Secret popped up out nowhere, so I took it as a sign to immediately set that money aside  !) And I'm going to be adding to it every paycheck. So there's a good chance I'll be okay for A-kon, too =D
Also, I have a friend that goes to A-kon every year. I can see if she's going, and then maybe convince her to join PO

There's a smidgeon of a chance they might have fridges in all of the rooms. Just a smidge. Call and see

Yeah I'll find out all the details when I call about my room. Probably in November.
It'd be awesome if you could make it to AKON Scrummers seeing as how it will be more of a hanging out con, but you know you HAVE to come to AWA now. There's no getting around that.  |

Hrm. I dunno if I could pull off two conventions in one year. With my wife, that would almost be like some sort of heist. If I had to choose, id choose to go to AWA. |

It depends on my finacial situation whether or not I get a room. I got no problems making the hour drive up there every morning. |

Being as I live in the Dallas area, one of my best friends and I will try to make it... maybe 2 of my friends since one really lives in the area (almost walking distance). But we'll see if I remember to take time off this time. |
