You all know the drill by now but just in case the ROCKING OUT of last year completely obliterated your mind, here's the 411! We are ready to go on Group memberships for AWA! (Official AWA site: www.awa-con.com).

You know everyone at PO can't pass up a good party! Especially when it's more like a family reunion! Here's the official sign up thread. More to be updated as we get closer!

REGISTRATION

We have locked in the PO group membership. This way we can pass the savings on to our members here (and family and friends if you desire). Here is the pricing structure:

Registration through September 6, 2008:
Paypal should reach me NO LATER THAN Wednesday, September 3, 2008. This is to make sure we have everyone tallied up correctly and gives us 3 days to straighten any issues out.

$27 - Paypal (the membership is $25 but the $2 is the paypal processing fee)

IMPORTANT! When sending in your payment please indicate your Full Name and the Nickname you would like to appear on the badge. Make sure to add this in the Notes section of Paypal.

If you are sending yours via snail mail please PM me for instructions. Be sure to make your checks/money orders payable to Anime Weekend Atlanta.

Book fast because the hotel does fill up way in advance.

Also, PO Staff will rooms reserved. Once done you can possibly request to be put on the same floor if you wish by saying you wish to be next to the rooms reserved by Christopher Riccio.

EXTRA ACCOMMODATIONS

We all know some out of town folks come in for a little extra time to stay in city of PO. For this we have local folks who don't mind setting them up with a place to stay outside of the convention dates. The staff of PO will be staying at the hotel during convention times so please be advised that we will not have the availability on those days for people to stay with us. However, Shino and I do have room for folks to stay before and after the convention. Please let us know if you need a place to stay when you sign up or PM either one of us.

TRANSPORTATION

For many of you folks out there who will coming in from out of town, please let us know if you will be driving, flying, going by train or pack mule. Wink

I suggest flying if you don't drive plus that way we can arrange for bulk pickups from the airport. Or just arrange pickups in general. Below are some sites to check out for airfare:

Custom PO Badges

Every year we have special PO brand badges for all the members who attend AWA. If you have signed up for the group AWA membership you are automatically on the list. If you have paid for your AWA ticket outside of the group membership and are a PO member LET US KNOW! We won't know you are attending and therefore will not have a badge created for you if this is the case.

I cannot make it as I am very poor and cannot afford plane tickets or even the gas to drive down otherwise I would make my very first appearance at the AWA! Maybe next year...

Tentatively signing up, even though I once again have no damn clue on whether I'll be available or not...

I know for sure that I'll be on the job market by September... So if I do have work, it'll be up to my boss' whim.
