Well. Random meeting with one of your members led me here. I'm based in the SE, although proudly come from the Midwest and will never let you forget it :-p
I am really looking to try to find kindred anime fan spirits out there. It's a tough place here, and most of the clubs I've run into are not very active nor very diverse in their interests. There are only so many fighting anime I can stand, you know. (I'm more of a drama/action/romance type -- Escaflowne is my all time favorite, followed by Kenshin and Gundam Wing. However, I admit that I'm a Daichi fan and have even told him to his face to make more Jubei-chan and Fruits Basket.  )
Look at my website and you see that I have a lot of creative obsessions. I love to cartoon. I love to write. (Although some of it is done more anonymously on ff.net.)
My biggest passion now is writing fanfic and other side-projects. But that's only because I haven't yet found a group of fellow fanartists locally to work with. I'm very interested in talking about doing more anime fanart as I'm more of a comic/cartoonist with more Western influences.

i checked out your site.. great art! some really nice pieces in it! and i can brag a little here and say that i actually have a print of one of them!! she came into my store and i saw it and was so excited (we don't get a lot of anime stuff coming through) *hee hee* i love fruits basket!
