abusive relationships - i hate them

well, for the last few years i have had an abusive (verbally, not physically, i wouldnt stand for that) relationship and it is starting to get a bit extreme. every day i listen to my sister curse at me for something that i do thats not up to her standards. i hate it because i have to listen to this shit where she yells at me for not doing things her way, or not doing something at all and im beginning to hate it. my parents know about it it. but the problem is that often when this occurs she is the only one home. lately she has started yelling at me when my parents are around too. my parents do yell at her for it but it does nothing. and eventually because of this and other factors my mom will just snap on me too, and when shes angry my dad automatically gets angry too, and who better to take it out on then me, right? yeah, so im angry.

So slap the shit out of her already. I went thru this with my brother for years till I took the "scissors to the heart" approach. We don't speak now, obviously.

Yeah, well, maybe she doesn't feel like stoping cause for her, words and diplomacy isn't hurting affecting her, just a slap, or maybe just trying to stop her when she least expect it using physical force could help.

note: not brute savage force, just force, violence and agressivity aren't bad ways of solving problems, they are just usually not promptly used. And they are better used as last options, when words don't work, physical langage might come in handy, but if THAT doesn't work ... well, maybe someone needs to seek profesionnal help

i believe righty's sister has graduated college already, and righty is a year younger than me (that makes him 15)

And for B and Razer: I dont know about violence...ive tried it on my bro when we get into fights, and it usually turns into both of us going into a brawlfest, and one of us starting to bleed. thats obviously not good. And righty's sister is the type that if you hit her, she would probably hit you back...and MUCH harder. Or at least that is what i can see from someone of her size.

personaly man, i would say try to talk with her, and be as friendly as possible...and dont call her a bitch / biotch like u usually do...cuase that seems to piss her off (like it did when u were in her car). Besides that...i dunno whatelse to do. I just dont think that violence will solve anything, besides more fighting in the possible future

i rarely call her names in non serious situations. also i dont think hitting my sister would work very well. shes 23 and lives at home with us (kinda sad :p ) but i dont think it would work. for one thing my parents would go apeshit on me. also my life would be pretty much down the drains as they say. talking to my sister doesnt really work, cus then she just starts crying and giving me this bullshit guilt trip about how she did so much for this family and crap.

also, i didnt really want advice, i wanted others to talk about if they had been in bad relationships with friends/family.

oops, well yeah, I my lil bro used to be the bully, well, he still is but, let say he's a manipulative bastard that smiles at the good people only so they can think he's an angel when actually, he's far from that, but he got to learn that it's not who you are that matters, but the image that you will show to others, I mean damn he knew I was the good guy but the fact that I was always the one apparently being the mean one allowed him to take advantage of me, my mom and my dad, gee and of anyone he'd meet. (can't count how many times he started crying just so I could give him money, and I was just 11 !!! but when I would ask for money I'd be the one being yeld at "can't you see he's young! Leave him enjoy his money, you go work for it!" yeah, he's a year and 8 months younger then me and everything has been revolving around HIS wealth, not mine)

And when he kept poking me, or punching me so I'd get mad, if I ever pushed him back or slightly poke back, he,D hit much harder, or complained to momy that I pushed or punched him, wuss ...

Meh, I think the only thing that changed is that he is smarter now, the only reason he doesn'T play that game with me anymore is that he knows I no longer give a damn and would hurt him hard if he'd dare anything, but still, every once and a while, he steals money from me and, if I don'T tell him "hey, where's the 20 $ bill that was on my table in my room?" he'll say something like "O I took it, but don'T worry, I'll give it back, honost" And he does give it back, but that'S only if I tell him that I realized that he took the money, he still owns me something like, 2.95$, but since I never told him I knew he took all my change, I'm sure I'll never see it back.

you can try the "kill em with kindness approach" tho usually even tho you ARE being nice, this is teh quickest route to pissing them off more than anything lol. Depends on what you are wanting. otherwise next tiem she lays into just say how you are 15 and still growing up and learning, shes 23 and at home, what's her excuse?

it will piss her off but oh well, she pisses you off enough seems like she needs a little bitchiness thrown her way. so if she lays into you about your downfalls, lay into her about hers, who cares if she gives you guilt trips or cries? Does she really care when she pisses you off? No. She feels better by putting you down, so screw her I say, go to her level and give her a taste of her own medicine I say.
