[Therin]

"Seeking adventure? Perilous journeys to parts unknown, encounters with ferocious beasts, dodging(hopefully) almost certain death? No? Well how about Treasure?

Have I piqued your interest, traveller? Should you survive the journey across Mid-Ocean, make your way to the Library of Norwind. I will see you there."


So reads the sign, copies of which hang all over the three major cities, Miniopia, Norwind, and Ryltar.

[Dantrel Rayne]

Rayne was walking along in the street-lit darkness of miniopia. He came upon a bulletin board and, given his recent occupation, decided to check for jobs. The note caught his attention as he read "Library of Norwind." He knew it tied in with Therin. Rayne ripped off the note and several copies that were on the board, hoping to reduce the amount of people coming along on this "journey." Any kind of treasure promised by that mage was bound to be worth it. Rayne went to contact Ultrawolf to see how they were going to go about this one.

[Ultrawolf]

Knock at the door. Wasn't expecting any company.
Ultrawolf picked up one of his revolvers and held it behind his back.
He cautiously opened the door, ready to draw....
Just Rayne.

Rayne shows the note to Ultrawolf.
"Interesting. Could always use some better equipment...an actual base...Let's go for it. After all, how hard can it be?"
Ultrawolf began to gather some gear and equipment and collect it into a duffel bag.

[Therin]

"Report, Captain."
"Two, sir."
"Thank you, Captain. Dismissed."

[Dantrel Rayne]

A few days travel and the two were at the Library of Norwind. Rayne stopped before entering, looking up at the height of the building; it was rather grand for a library.

"I have not been here in a while."

He pushed open the door, they were large doors, yet they were build for people who don't get out much and were therefore light enough for even Rayne to open without much trouble. As he strode into the library, the front desk lady looked up to greet the new arivals and, seeing who it was, lunged backwards with a gasp into the bookshelf behind her. A single book fell down and Rayne continued walking.

"...at least they remember me."

He walked into the center of the first open area in the library and stopped. He looked around and saw no Therin. Rayne closed his eyes and began emmitting a magical pulse outward throughout the entire library, one that magical and mundane creatures alike could feel, though only Therin would recognize it and come.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx was also seen in the library. He had read the sign and it intreguied him. After his time spent with Reverend, Zzyxx was left needing to test his abbilities now that he no longer held sway over shadow powers. His saber of shadow had rejected him and his saber of frost had taken the form of a katana to compensate for it. Zzyxx had a few matters to research in the library anyway, he still needed to figure out what his tablet said.

Zzyxx jerked around suddenly when Rayne emitted his pulse, Varia, who found a way into the library also turned witha start.

"Oh, Rayne, didn't expect to see you here. Who is you friend?"

Zzyxx pulled a book down from a shelf entitled Letters of the Light Clan. He opened it up and began reading casually.

"I wonder where our host is?"

[Dantrel Rayne]

"He will come."

Rayne stood there ignoring everything else that Zzyxx had said. He finished with his pulses, by now, Therin would know where they are.

[Ultrawolf]

"Uh huh..."
Ultrawolf's mind began to wander.
He left Rayne's side and began to wander the Library.

[Therin]

"Judging from the...covert...nature of your appearance, I would assume you came for the purposes of battle, death, and malignancy," said the old mage as he entered the foyer of the library. His robes were jet black, lined with white silk, and his hair was now more gray than not, even completely powerless, his eyes still held formidable power. It was a gaze which had stared down kings and armies alike, and remained strong even now, as he limped forward with the aid of a dark wood staff. "However, was the complete and utter annihilation of any semblance of peace and quiet really necessary? My poor students thought you were the second coming of the armies of Darrowind. Now, did you have a purpose in coming, or were you simply reminiscing about bygone days of 'glory'?"

[Dantrel Rayne]

"I came here at your request. If your students get disturbed by that little pulse, then I wish you luck on teaching such worthless kids."

Rayne held up the flyer in one hand, aimed at Therin.

"I wish to discuss this...adventure you are proposing."
