I agree the game looks fantastic, but I think their timing on release is poor. They are gonna have just enough time for the game to get old, before WotLK comes out and all the people they got from Wow are gonna go right back. |

Well that really depends on if the game sucks or not. i would counter with they are releasing it with enough time for people to get invested in it and less likely to go back to WoW.
Honestly my interest in WoW has been waning its to gimmicky, one of the last straws for my was this gay ass spirit of competition. Its like rather than make a good game they just put all this ADD crap in it. |

i got accepted into the closed beta yesterday, I'll let you guys know what I think of the classes. I'm definitely leaning more towards destruction side but there's something special about The Witch Hunter that i'll have to try out

WoW has become a gear grind. In the end that's all it is. You grind for mats to make your CRAFTED EPIC LOOTZ! You run your raids TO GET YOUR EPIC GAER! You PvP TO GET UR WELFAER EPIX!!! You know when WotLK comes out, that's all it will be.
Screw all that. Lemme at WAR.

I'll watch my bf check out beta, but as pretty as it is in some areas, there are many things that I like about it, its still just not as polished as WoW. You have to admit at least that.
And I like the special promotions WoW does, more pets plx! lol =P

I'm interested to see if WAR can pull off what it hopes to, I wish them luck, and I'm sure they will get a pretty good following if they can get it smoother and have good story in it.
(FYI - all games are going to have some sort of epix and crap, otherwise what's the goal of playing ANY game that technically has no end? You cant beat it really, therefore you gear yourself up to attempt to show accomplishment and progress. WAR will have it to, just has any MMO has....FFXI, Galaxies, AoC, etc) |
