There's definiately going to be a sequel. I read that they may be planning two, actually. Starscream and Barricade we already know are still alive, as is Scorponok. And I'm very willing to bet that Megatron is still alive also. If you remember earlier, when Optimus says if all else fails he'll push the cube into his chest and destroy it, Ratchet says that it COULD kill him.
My only qualm was that Bumblebee looked much more badass as the 74 Camaro than the new 08 one. |

am i the only one to notice that barricade being a ford and bumblebee being a chevy says that i am driving the enemy? my fave part was the text on barricade's side. instead of "to protect and serve" it said "to destroy and enslave" with the decepticon symbol in the sheild/star area of the police car. |

I caught on to that while having a conversation about the movie with Tobs. It was a nice little touch.
Normally I prefer Mustangs to Camaros, but Bumblebee was pretty damn cool (when he was in classic form). |

I saw a shirt with that and the emblem on it. I need to get it. It was awesome. Over all I liked the movie expect it all seemed to be about the Autobots.....lame.... Starscream is amazing and I'm looking forward to any and all sequels that are forth coming. |

By the way...
I want to take back what I said a while back about Megatron and it not making sense that he was an "alien" ship.
The way they did his part of the story, it makes perfect sense. |

I should have been paying more attention here. I need to clear up a few things.
"Devastator" is actually Bonecrusher. Some of the characters had fake names early in production. Somebody just messed up and put his fake name in there by accident. They said it'll be fixed on the DVD version.
Barricade is definitely alive. At Botcon, the writers said there was a scene that was cut. It had Bumblebee fighting him again, and stabbing him in the chest with a sword. After BB leaves, he heals and drives off back into hiding.
Transformers 2 already has the green light. It was ok'ed back when the movie premiered.
One of the producers (I forget which one at the moment) said that he wants to do both the dinobots and constructicons in TF2. He said he figured out a good way to do the dinobots.
Lastly, this movie has already made assloads of money. $165,333,052 domestically, and $262,541,048 worldwide. |

Say what you will about Micheal Bay. Personally, I've liked a number of his movies. And this one was Great to watch! |

The tank got credited as Devastator. But all of the toys of that robot are named Brawl. But now he's Bonecrusher? I'm so confused...
I want to get more into Transformers. Any suggestions on what I should read/watch? I just picked up volume 1 of War Within... |

But Bonecrusher was actually in the movie as what he's supposed to be. I bet they'll rename him Brawl for the DVD release, because that is what the toys call him as Ming says.
And I thought somebody was dead set against the Constructicons, and seeing as how Prime killed Bonecrusher, they'd have to throw in new robots for that part. But even Dinobots sound a little far fetched, unless Grimlock and the others crash landed on Earth millions of years ago. The Constructicons I can see, but the Dinobots is out there. The only thing I'm really hoping for is a Jetfire/Starscream confrontation. |
