I snuck into a power plant type place (generator?) and killed a couple of raiders using the sneak mode, its also enabled me to get past plenty of Meurlacks (or whatever those walking oyster things are called) which I hate fighting!

Hell yeah I hate those things! Only thing that's annoying is when the bounty hunters (who appear randomly in the wastelands) come after you as you're killing something else. They jumped me when I was killing molerats, and I was boned. I LOVE the "travel to" option though. Going back and forth from Megaton to anywhere else is a HUGE pain in the butt!

IT's not in Rivet City it's to the East judging by the map on the game, it was a right bitch getting to Rivet City though, bloody Super Mutants!

I have yet to get to Rivet city. I, too, have been building quests that take place there. I have a feeling it takes a lot of subway hopping, and I'm starting to hate that. As of the time of this writing, I've only gotten as far as the Museum. Super Mutants Everywhere!! My sneak skill is pitifully low, though, so they see me coming a mile away. What I really need to pick up is a sniper rifle or something.

Actually your best to run to rivet city immediately, I was trying to get there at lvl 2 to get the inteligence bobble head but pesky mobs made me lvl to 3 on the way. Rivet city is all open country and since you can fast travel its pointless to wait untill u have a bunch of quests for there.

Rivet City is best viseted early mostly for the bobblehead and Flak n' shrapnals arms store, they usually have 1k caps and twice the ammo moria does.

Btw I am on my 2nd run through trying to get as uber as possible.

I finally got there, and am waaay beyond that point. The easiest way to get to Rivet city is to go south from Megaton and once you're past greyditch just follow the road. You WILL have to deal with supermutants and raiders, as well as cross the river, but after that Rivet City is right there.

Hey Reaper I'm at the big battle between the brotherhood and the Enclave with that giant robot. I'm thinking this is probably close to the end of the game lol.

OK I was really enjoying the beginning, then I got to Megaton and it feels like Oblivion again. Which is not good for me.

I'm bored. There's no place to sleep without paying and I don't have the money to pay. There's NOTHING to fight outside Megaton. Dude wants way to much money to give info about the father. I feel like there's nothing to do.

The EXACT same thing I hated about Oblivion is happening here.
