Hahahaha, touché. Right on target, you can't miss that cliché, as a matter of fact, every time an RPGs that involved a "character wakin' up in the morning before the adventure began" kind of scenario, I didn't even bother playing the rest of the game because just THAT untolerable cliché just made me sick enough NOT to play the rest of the game ... AND WHERE'S OUR PUCKING SMILIES WHEN WE NEED 'EM?!  :angryfire:  :bash:

Awww.... no RPGs that started that way? What about Crono Trigger? And XenoGears? Those both started that way! And Earthbound! There are so many good ones! I'm not saying that it isn't a terrible cliche, cause it is, I'm just saying that... well, you get what I'm saying. They're still good games.

I played none of those games  well, must be because I've never had a PSX or SNES . (I prefer D&D-like kind of RPGs, a-la Morrowind ... in other words, well, beside PSO and Arena and Daggerfall and Morrowind ... I don't love many other RPGs, sure I like a few others ... but not as much as the Elder Scroll serie  ) |
