Twisted thoughts

[Akuko]

Akuko was much smaller compared to the dragon. She didn't have enough time to react to the sweeping leg, but managed to slice part of his leg with the demon sword. She barely escaped his tail, but managed to crawl underneath him and latch onto his belly. Shifting instantly to a leopard she held on with her back claws and stabbed his belly with the demon sword. Using the Eye of Bast as a bit of an anchor, she dropped behind the demon, the shockwave not affecting her, but did see the air erupting.

Shifting to a cheetah again, her speed was amazing as she got far enough away from the demon and the explosions to plan her next move. He was clearly stronger, but slower, she would have to use her speed and stealth even more effectively.

Constantly darting, back and forth, seemingly erratic, Akuko smiled and as Diablo lifted his foot, she jumped on it and leapt to his neck, using the demon blade to catch her fall, slicing the demon's neck.

She dropped to the ground and rolled towards the belly of the demon and sliced again. Quickly getting on her feet again, she headed back to a more defensive position. She wasn't sure how long she could keep this up, but she had to, for Tobias' sake.

[Diablo]

Diablo was growing frustrated, the demon roared again, and again. Diablo charged forward, jumped, still moving forward, towards Akuko, he spun. His upper body from the waist up was somewhat horizontal, slightly turned to towards, or facing Akuko. The demon's left leg was out for at kick, coming down on top of her. The demon's foot smashed the ground and the demon jumped forward, rolling to face where Akuko would be. He flapped his powerful wings, clearing the dust and debris first and then he picked up speed and power, attempting to blow the cat-woman into the air. The demon kept picking up power, the gusts of wind becoming more and more violent

She heard his cry, the keeper opened her eyes slowly and without hesitation she ran to her master. The demoness, Known as the gate keeper or Keeper for short was an eerie one. One half of her body was alive, and full of life, beautiful.. The other, was the color of death. Her body was still full, rot not taking it's toll, as if stopped by an unseen force. Her left wing was nothing but animated bones, the other still living. It remained this way evenly down the middle. She walked forward, spoke nothing and gave no glance to Diablo. She made her way to the Bastet. Drawing her blades, two long krisses, a curvy dagger, she picked up speed. Now running, she vaulted toward the imperfection, bringing her daggers down on top of her.

[Tobias]

Get down. The thought charged across the air, through the flames and passed the demon and the strange abomination. It aimed for the bastet, and he hoped she heeded it.

The blast from the flame sent Tobias careening all the way back into whatever woods were left on the outskirts of the desolate landscape. His landing was terrible, smashing into burned trees and tearing through rocks and rubble and dirt. His body lie limp. His mind lay still for just one moment. Then he heard nothing.

Silence was all around him. The sound of combat disappeared into the distance, and the only thing left was his heartbeat, constantly drumming at a steady pace. He stood up and darkness in his eyes was fully pronounced - they looked like empty shells, save for the faint silvery light around the outsides. Tobias sent the command. and with one powerful thrust, he vaulted forward, the landscape changing from woods to desolation in mere seconds. He hit the ground behind Akuko and brought Eden across, an overwhelming power following him, from which no one could quite comprehend. The krisses collided with Eden, and with that, the blade howled, and a empty force thrusted itself from the blade, forcing the keeper back.

[Diablo]

She landed, forced back. Undaunted by the man, the Keeper, rushed in again. Her fight not with him, yet... She focused on the Bastet but left room for thought of the man.

Diablo eyed Tobias, a smile covering his face.

"I thought you left us, pray we continue this."

The demon walked forward, his size shrinking, until he stood roughly nine feet tall, from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head.

"Size has it's uses for many a thing, but not in this instance."

The fiend dropped into a defensive stance, now was the final moments he yearned for.

[Akuko]

Akuko kept several paces back, watching Diablo. She easily darted out of the way of his attacks and threatened to smile as the demon roared. She knew he wasn't winning, but neither was she.

Then she noticed the ugly/beautiful demon running towards her but on instinct she sniffed the air and ducked. She heard the clash of swords right above her head and was shocked, but not surprised that Tobias was still alive.

There were no time for words. Akuko turned to face him, smiled gratefully, then began to run towards the keeper, blades drawn.

Now it was just a matter of keeping the keeper away from Tobias and Diablo.

[Tobias]

Tobias didn't hear Diablo's words. He simply understood. He wondered how fast this was going to end. He contemplated the ways he could destroy his opposer.

The silence he heard was golden. Nothing phased him. He felt everything, yet he felt nothing.

Tobias did not speak. He simply lifted his blade and cleaved it down, sending a tremendous amount of force towards Diablo.

[Diablo]

Diablo moved quicker now, size no longer hindering his movements. Diablo pushed the blade with his left hand, parrying the blow and in the same instance he closed the gap, brought his right hand up into an uppercut. He was bleeding all over, his liquid like fire dripping and oozing. It didn't hinder the demon, he cut all senses to his body, felt no pain. He could ill afford to in this fight. The blood it's self acted as a weapon, if touched. His coloring was changing, the demon was dying, albeit slowly. He has been the entire time, every since the insanity struck.. Since the fledgling lord was beginning to spawn.

She moved quickly, with great finesse and power. She focused on the demonic blade, the source of his frustration was now her's. She would relieve Akuko of the blade if she had to pry it from her cold dead fingers. But only if she had to. Tho ordered to kill, this wasn't her fight, it was his. She would only even it, by returning the blade to the rightful owner and the end of the battle, if they were to survive, she would remove them from the sacred grounds, they were not for this realm and she would ensure they left. She attacked... Multiple times, her speed ungodly. The Bastet's hand was the target, marked by her. She attacked any and all vital points and she would continue to ravage that arm until the blade was dropped.

[Akuko]

Akuko parried and dodged the demoness' blows, eyes wide as they seemed to keep coming and coming. They seemed to be directed at the demon blade hefted in her left hand. She swung the Eye of Bast into the fleshy side of the demoness, then used the demon blade to push the demoness back, hoping to trip her up. Swords clanged together, nearly creating sparks. As long as Akuko held the demon blade she had the advantage, but this was proving to be a tough battle.

As the demoness was pushed back Akuko shifted into a were-tiger and launched herself at the demoness. She too was fighting at a remarkable speed and wasn't willing to give up.

[Diablo]

She was growing agitated, she stopped, forced back and ran forward, she brought her her knee up into the diaphragm of Akuko, her left hand across her chest, she brought the hilt of the kriss into the maw of the Bastet. She then rolled off Akuko, bringing the the right kriss down into the left shoulder of Akuko. The were now back to back and she brought both dagger, pointed backwards, into the kidneys of the Bastet.
