Sperrit saw Rev's eyes glance at the portal, knowing he saw it. He nodded. "Yup, you did. So we've lost Nacht, Aiman and Rayne. We've kept Musashi, Arius and myself. Two more to go before we can start to look for those lost to us. Who's next?"

Demonic takes a cautious step forward, locking eyes with the statue. It suddenly shifts, wings spreading out to the sides, a sword slipping from within the robes. It advances, and Demonic responds by attacking it... the angel dodges out of the way with ease.

"You answer me with violence," the angel says to him.

Demonic ignores it and attacks again, and the angel steps to the side. Demonic launches a few more attacks, each ending with the same result.

"Dammit! Fight me like a man!"

"I have no reason to fight you, as you have no reason to fight me."

"You drew a weapon on me!"

As Demonic's pulse quickens, the veins in the angel become visible, glowing red with each beat of Demonic's heart. The area around him inverts colors, red changing to green, black to white, blue to orange, purple to yellow... and vice versa. The blue-skinned and blue-haired Demonic launches himself at the angel again, but it holds out a hand and Demonic stops suddenly, suspended in midair.

"You have no reason to attack me, Lucifer! Ponder this!"

Demonic reappears, unconscious, down below with the others.

Sperrit watches Demonic disappear and bows his head.
"That's the last of them. I guess we're on our own now. Let's get outta here and start our search. Musashi, Yutaka, you guys go first. You seems to be best equiped for this place."

Aiman, you have a demon inside of you. I can feel it as an evil entity separate from you. You really didn't know? For some reason, my Energy seems to calm it for a while.

Demonic appears next to Nacht. She glances over at him and nods.

Okay, that's all of us. Let's find a way out of here.

She studies the hologram for a moment.
What is this blurry spot? It looks like it is in the room next to us.

Aiman shakes his head and stands up. "Let's get going. We cant linger here for long. This place is dangerous and a lot of evil monsters and creatures roam this area." Aiman said while looking at Nacht. "I gave you my word to protect you, and I will try my best to do it...Even if it means my own demise."

Aiman started walking in front of the group. Nacht followed him, and Rayne and Demonic walked guarding the back.

OOC: The long overdue, and long… Trial of Shino…

Shino looks into the eyes of the statue…

He falls through the floor and into a large dark room. Flat, empty, emotionless.

“Where am I?” Shino calls out.

“Your trial is most difficult of all Shino. As you are being controlled by evil,” stated Yutaka

“No… I’m not… through my training I have regained control over myself and my powers.”

“Have you… ?”

A white light flashes in the room. A shooting pain comes to Shino’s head. “Grrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.” He screams in pain and falls to his knees. He opens his eyes and they are black throughout. The evil takes over. Suddenly all is calm.

“I could make you do whatever I want.” Yutaka brags with a laugh. “Your trial will be to defeat your greatest enemy… yourself.”

“WHAT… WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!” Shino yells. But there is no answer from Yutaka.

Suddenly a force seems to over take his body moving him around. His armor detaches from his body. His swords fly from his hands. The armor and swords float in mid air and take the form to the air as if they were still attached to a body. Suddenly, a vision of Shino with his evil black eyes shows up wearing the armor and holding the swords, then disappears.

“I’m … fighting myself? Without armor or weapons. YUTAKA, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PROVE MYSELF IN THIS SITUATION.”

A voice calls out to the distraught Shino, “Shinosan, you must rely on your strengths. Weapons will only make you weak.”

“Mah… Master?”

“Yes Shino. I am here. I have always been here. Since that day when you were seduced by Poo Ting to take those weapons. I have been watching you. And I have proud of you my son. But now the time has come to use what I have taught you … ALL of what I have taught you and Doot. You must now overcome your fear and use your strengths and most advanced techniques. You must overcome your greatest foe, your anger… your hate… your disobedience. Concentrate Shino. You CAN win. Use ALL you have learned. Now is the time to advance in techniques you have had trouble with.”

With that the voice fades out and disappears. “Master… It has been many years. I will not fail you.”

Shino takes out his GunKlone and looks at it carefully. He then… throws it aside.

“ARE YOU READY TO DIE?” The images shrieks at Shino.

“No… I’m not afraid. You are me. I control you. Come at me Phantom, you will learn your place.”

The phantom charges at Shino slashing one after another. Shino dodges left, right, left, jump, duck, flip. Finally he sees an opening. He sidekicks to the midsection of the phantom… or at least where it would be. His foot goes right through. He swings with a backfist to where a jaw would be on a normal body. His hand goes right through the opening in the helmet. Confused, Shino looks at his hand. The phantom slashes again. Shino dodges but is caught on the side with his own sword. Blood begins to flow from the wound.

“How do I hit something that’s not there? … THE ARMOR.”

Shino attacks again. Dodging all of the blows sent in by the phantom. He spins to the side and kick the phantom’s “right hand.” The gauntlet and Bianco are sent across the room, but before they can reach the ground, float back to their original positions.

“WHAT THE HELL.”

Shino dodges again and attempts to land blows to the helm. Every blow is dodged or blocked by the phantom.

“I have to hit him.”

Shino attempts to get behind the phantom but fails with all atempts. Running out of options, he waits for the phantom to charge. When he is about to swing, Shino jumps in the air, flipping over the phantom. Shino turns around only to receive a boot to the cheast. He flies through the air and lands painfully on the ground. He looks up only to see the phantom charging him… not missing a beat.

Shino get’s to one knee almost like he is going to start a sprinting race. The phantom reaches him and plundges the swords downward.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” Shino screams echo through the room. Suddenly something overcomes his body…

*vanish*

Shino ends up on the other side of the phantom in the air. A powerful kick is shot out connecting with the helm, sending it across the room into the wall. It shatters and the pieces fall to the ground. The armor and swords fall to the ground.

"How... What... but... how did I... ?"

“Well done my son” Shino hears the voice of his master once more. You have just succeded in using the vanish technique for the first time. Although it may also be your last time. You did not receive the advance training that Dootsama did to master the technique. But when faced with death when you knew everything was on the line, including your friends, your instincts took over.” The voice begins to fade. “Your next target is Poo Ting… remember, I am with you, and proud of you… my son.”

Yutaka voice over runs that of Pow Ting. “Congratulations Shino. You have won. You have proven your control of the anger and hate within you. What you do not know, is that you have always had the power to control the armor.”

Shino looks at the armor and it comes back toward him. The helm reforms and also returns. The pieces refit on to his gi.

“I don’t understand, I did know that already”

“But you did not know the extent of what you could do. You reformed the helm, doesn’t that seem the least bit odd to you? Think about it.”

Shino looks at his armor, “I did do that didn’t I.” Shino looks at the armor, then closes his eyes. Suddenly, almost like it was morphing to him, the armor began to change. The helmet closed up, the boots became bigger, stronger. The gauntlets also. The symbol on his head suddenly appeared on his cheast plate and grew, changed… to a new form. The cape grew longer. He had changed.

Now the Good dominated him, and the evil that is in him has begun to work for the Good.

“I did it.”

“Yes Shino, you have. You have learned much in this short time.” Yutaka said as his voice began to fade out. “You have proven your worth. You may continue.”

Shino seems to be teleported back in and sees his friends again. He stands in the exact position he was when he left. Like he never moved.

“How long was I gone?”

Meanwhile, in the Catacombs...

Aiman's party walked to the next room. Several doors where in that room.

"Hmmm... Ok, this doors, only one door goes to the exit, as you might well have expected. Is very predictable. But which one ? Each door will lead to another room of more doors and more doors until we find the exit. Let me check the map to make sure..." Aiman said to his party.

Aiman started looking at the holograph while shadows started appearing in the room.

"What the... my sensors are going nuts !!" Aiman yelled. He looked foward to see the shadows appear. Aiman grabbed his sword Skye firm in his hand. "Guys, time to fight !! Be careful !!" Aiman said to the paerty while looking at the over his shoulder. He grabbed Nacht by her waist and pushed her back.

Aiman looked at Nacht. "Like I told you... Im gonna protect you even if it means my own demise." Aiman went straight to fighting stance after saying those words to Nacht.

"Let's do this..."

Sperrit looks at Shino, his eyes widening. He smiles and gives him a thumbs up.
"Dude! That's awsome! You look kinda scary now. But cool! With you all powered up like that we're sure to suceed! Alright! Let's go!"

"Do you know the thousands of shadow creatures I can detect in the catacombs? If we choose the wrong door, we will be fighting for a very long time."

Rayne is completely ignoring the shadows near the group. He puts his hand out and strings of black energy shoot into 3 of the shadows. They are absorbed into the strings and then back into Rayne's hand. He has more of a refreshed look on his face now.

"It's not that they are hard, but we might run out of energy fighting even the weakest of these. Not to mention the stronger powers in this place."

ooc:we'll assume there is more than 3 so we can have a fight

Well, Aiman, you ARE supposed to protect me, but of course I won't let you die doing it!

She stands beside him with arms crossed defiantly and a devillish expression.

Hey Rayne, that was pretty cool how you sucked up those shadows!

She looks around at the doors, trying to figure out which one was the blurry spot on the hologram.
It appeared to be on the right side of the room. There were 5 doors on that side.

Aiman, can you make that hologram any clearer? Or zoom in or something?
