A.S.E. Act II: Twilight Division

[Azurel]

Rayne could care less about the lonely little child, but Azurel broke through. Azurel went up to the boy.

"Hi, I'm looking for a guy named Ultrawolf. He's wearing a trenchcoat, have you seen him?"

[Ultrawolf]

*the boy looks up at azurel and then looks down again*
I dont know any ultrawolf mister...My name is Alexander...

[Azurel]

"Well, Alexander, why aren't you playing with the other kids?"

Meanwhile, Rayne's mind sighs, because he's already made the connection between Alexander and Ultrawolf.

Azurel, your an idiot

[Ultrawolf]

They don't like me... they said im kursed. I don't know what that means.

[Minosheep]

Humming, Demonic watches the goings-on with menial interest. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he decides he should help, but somewhere closer to the front decides, "Nah."

He blinks, realizing that he spoke aloud, and just shakes his head.

[Azurel]

"The people used to say Rayne was cursed, because at night, he would transform into me and cause chaos. Well, once we finally learned how to control our "curse"...well, we killed them after that happened. In either case, you just have to figure out what your curse is and control it."

hehe, that night was fun, wasn't it Az?

[Ultrawolf]

*the boy looks at azurel and the area shifts and warps into a town setting. A teenager boy is running for his life through the streets as people chase him with torchs and weapons. The boy becomes surrounded and he clutchs his head in pain. The clouds obscuring the full moon part and the moonlight shines down. The boy howls at the moon and changes into a werewolf. One man advances trying to speak rationally to the wolfman and the beast stops and listens. Another man pushs him away and draws a sword.The werewolf's eyes become red and he gives into his Rage. The werewolf brutally slaughters them all. Dawn breaks and the beast becomes a boy again.*

[Azurel]

Azurel smiles, and Rayne is pleased. Both are fans of bloodshed and evil. Azurel walks up to the teen, finally making the connection.

"Hehe, now wouldn't you like to do that at will, or control it enough to never let it happen again?"

[Ultrawolf]

*The boy looks up at azurel. The boy nods his head and time flies forward. The boy's power increases as he kills innocent after innocent. Soon after entire armies hunt him down only to die in vain. Entire nations cannot defeat the boy who has grown into a man. The power and rage consume him and he cannot revert into human form any longer. He becomes one with the darkness in his soul and becomes a shadow himself. The shadow has turned the planet into an apocalyptic warzone between his own dark warriors and the resistance that remains. The rebellion invades and all are slaughtered except for another lycanthrope, an elderly looking man. The man escapes by transforming himself into his animal form, A raven. The raven steals a device and uses it to transport himself into the past. The man tries to undo his future. He attempts to kill the boy in the past but cannot bring himself to strike down the boy. He becomes an uncle-like figure to the boy and helps him to control his power and how to hide from those who would wish to bring harm to him because of their fear. The Shadow of the other world learns of these events and escapes his reality before the winds of time cause it to dissapear from existance. The Shadow takes his revenge on the boy's natural family. He murders them in front of the boy's eyes in an attempt to instill rage and hatred within his younger self's mind. But there is a fatal flaw in his plan. His younger self's older brother sacrifices himself to allow the boy to escape which causes the boy to grow up with a heroic and self-sacrificing nature in memory of his brother Grey. The images stop and the world around azurel turns into a labyrinth*

[Azurel]

"You see what kind of fun I could have had without you Rayne?"

You see what kind of fun I could have had without you Azurel?

"Hehe. ...Man, I hate labyrinths"

Azurel walks forward, takes a few turns.
