X-Men - Did they even READ the comics?

I mean it cant honestly be that big of a shocker that the movie isnt going to follow teh 10 billion issues of Xmen to a "T".

and on that note: i enjoyed the first movie, and I liked the second one even better

Storm came way before Gambit was even thought of. He actually spent time "courting" Rogue so maybe that's what you mean.

Making Bobby be icey would be easy...see Terminator 3. In today's world of CG fx hardly anything is impossible. Personally I wanted to see more of Collosus and maybe Thunderbird (they killed him off so quickly tho). He and Colossus would have made a kick ass First Line of Attack. Must admit I loved having Wolvie kill tho instead of the typical "One hit and they get knocked out" thing.
Of course it does look like they're following the storyline better than any other comic movie so I can't really bitch. I mean, who really cared about Sabretooth before the Capcom games came out?

Well, I did..I liked the cut of Sabertooths jib. Plus he was like Wolverines coolest enemy (Next to Omega Red of course).

I mean he heals quick and his senses are attuned like Wolverines he lacks adamentium but he's got brute force on his side while Wolverine is streamlined and has the adamentium to back him up.

Plus Sabertooth had one goal in his life and that was to terrorize Wolverine and I like that he stuck it out to the very end.

Well, I don't think they want Gambit in there cause it's be wierd to have a 25 year old guy tryin to score with a 13 year old. It's ok for a 13 year old girl to try and score with a 50 year old (Even if he don't look it thanks to Mutant Regen) man though.

Still haven't Seen the x-2 yet..I want to but all my friends are poor and I have this thing about seeing movies alone. I might see it on the 15th cause everyone will be in The Matrix so the theater may be more sparse.

So long as the X-Men movies are doing great, I don't think they'll give a crap what others think. Just toss in the "alternate universe" card.

yeah. I was talking to a friend of mine about that. We were saying how it would be less wierd if they made him young too, but then his thick cajun accent would just bee cheesy. Half of the fun is that he has this complicated past (sort of like wolverine).

Also, wolverine is totally like a hundered something years old. I still need to get around to reading that whole 'origins' series.

Ooooh, so in X-men three they should end it with Bizarro laughing and holding an Orb with a picture of Apocolypse in it.

That'd be a kewl ending I think.

Bizzaro is a Superman character. Do you mean Mezmero? He wasn't really an Apoc lacky either. Just in the Evolution series.

I think X3 needs to be about Genosha. Lotsa mutants, and the Sentinels.

Nooooo...Bizarro was the deformed Superman but Bizarro world was that reverse land thingy from Marvel comics. I think the ruler of Bizzaro world was more Fantastic 4 though. But if his name ain't Bizarro it's something else and too Obscure to name.

X3 needs to be about Age of Apocolypse..Just end the hopes of the Phoenix Saga and go straight to AOA. Then we can see Magneto lead the X-men to victory over Apocolypse just to have the world end because nothing can exist if there's no Apocolypse to end it.
