A-Kon is in the middle of the summer, June 3-5. So there is no reason school should interfere for all you people not out of high school. It will be in Dallas, Texas and any more information you need can be found at www.a-kon.com
A-kon was mine, Dai's, and Grallick's first experience with a con way back in high school. The place is awesome.
In fact year before last a guy asked a girl to mary him on the stage during a Cosplay skit at AnimeFest(which is pretty much Dallas's version of AWA) and they actually had their wedding cerimony the next year during the opening ceremonies of A-kon. Pretty cool huh?
A-kon is roughly the size of Otakon at this point. Which means a LOT more exposure for PO.
I would really like to see you guys come up to Dallas next year for A-Kon. But I would seriously suggest not driving. That is an aweful drive. You may not think so on the way there..... but on the way back after 3 days of con and only 10 hours sleep..... it just plain sucks.
Regardless of whether or not you come to A-kon, I will still be coming to AWA05. |

I will try to be at AWA 05 but that all depends on where i'm staying and if i've graduated and gotten a job still living in the state. But i do hopeful want to cosplay enon and maybe Nadia. |

I'll be there.... even planing on cosplaying my PO.... as soon as she gets drawn I'll probably start buying the fabric I 'll need... though I've already promised to cosplay Gojyo (Saiyuki) as well....I' am rather curious as to one thing though.... how do I keep getting talked into doing a cosplay group as the tallest character, when I'm probably gonna be the shortest person in the group
