Sweet Sassy! PotC 3!

It was pretty good, definitely concluded the trilogy pretty well and didn't suffer from sequel-itis. They seemed to answer pretty much all of my questions from the series and all.

Teah I give it my stamp of approval. Chris commented that is was the best of the three for him.

I freakin LOVE all of the returning cast! They do such a great job of playing in an ensemble than it just being Will's movie, or Jack's movie, or Elizabeth's movie. My only thing is I would have liked to see more of the pirate lords. Smile

But I guess it's cool. Smile

Just neat to see pirate lords from other countries.

I did realy enjoy it, It was full of action, and cheese, but both were so over the top that it was cool. It also didnt feel like it was three hours long, and thats a plus. By the time return of the king was over I was just thinking, "Oh please god make it end, make it stop!" I dont know how they did it, but all the witty quips were funny, and it didnt get old to me.
Defininatly a five star movie, but my favorite scene was the trailer for the golden compass

I have to say that I loved most of the characters but kiera knightly gets on my nerves...
I mean, last movie elizabeth swan wasnt even sure she was a pirate or not and this time she's giving motivating speeches to them all? Well, I'm just not such a fan and could have done with less of her on the screen. Also...did you notice everytime she kisses someone or they kiss her they die? think about it, in this movie particularly, it's kind of funny actually.

also, she does this wierd underbite thing when she's angry or trying to be serious.

but I like her character okay, I just might have liked more captian jack, the other pirate lords, or even will turner.

Ming and I saw it the other day and loved it! I thought it really completed the series. When asked by his mom which movie he liked more, Ming described it perfectly when he said it's one giant movie. I thought the same.

However, I do have to say that I was a bit disappointed with that little snippet after the credits. The credits took forever and it would have been nice if that short scene was a bit longer, but I guess for story purposes it was perfect!

I loved the movie. I too would have loved to see more of the pirate lords. Especially Chow Yun-Fat's Character. Sad

I want to know more about him. Like how does he know Jack. Where did the scar come from. etc.

For me, Captain Barbossa stole the show.

Barbossa was the only real reason I saw PotC 3.

It was a good movie and in fact for me PotC was the only trilogy that got better as it progressed.

1 was ok not really too good for me.
2 was alot better and faster
3 was da shiznite.

Tobs and I were talking after we both saw the movie regarding the fact that they kinda, sorta left it a little open at the end. But we both agreed (as you can probably tell by my previous sentence) that it's not really adequate for more movies and we don't think that that was their intention.

We also agreed, however, that it would be very cool if they decided to continue the story on, but in comic form, which makes total sense in both of our minds. Oh well...here's hoping...
