Eh.
I went into this movie with an open mind. I didn't read much info about it. I thought the first two movies were great, but this one just didn't settle right for me. Raimi and co. should have taken notes on the Burton/Schumacher Batman movies. Too many villians = disaster.
Just a very uneven movie. Spectacular scenes combined with cheese. Be dramatic or be campy. Not both. |

I was watching for the emo spidey part, and the only part of the movie that resembled him being emo was when he finger-combed his hair down. Then he was ultra-aggresive, and the campy dancin in the street stuff ensues (probably what helped me give it a thumbs down) The movie (imho) would have been much better without the alien suit/venom thing going on. New Goblin and Sandman made the movie almost work. Then black suit Peter Parker/Venom killed it.
