Neopian Travels - The Search For Aiman

Shhh, Sperrit, save your energy. Nacht gets the lid back onto the barrel, then helps Sperrit to sit up when he has woken up a bit more.

I think that blowing up the bottom of the building will call unnecessary attention to us. Let's go back out and sneak around the building. Maybe there is a way to actually get up the building from the outside.

(**OOC:: since my usual tan font color is unreadable on the blue background, i will be using green as my narrator color.**)

Neopia is reminiscent of FF7 in that buildings are elevated above the rest of the city. Another reason the city below is perpetually dark. The Asina building (we dont know that it is the Asina building yet) is older than most, so it reaches from the real ground up through the elevated city, as it had been built upon for centuries.

Sperrit, are you well enough to walk yet?

OOC: This is a long post. Since I just update every once in a while to let you guys walk around and investigate.

While Aiman sneaks around...

"YOU IDIOTS !!! Did you forget the FACT that AIMAN is walking around the building ? LOOK FOR HIM NOW !! I WANT HIM FOUND !!!" One of the members of the counsil said.

One Asina Knight came foward and said, "Sorry sir, but he's evading our cameras and security systems. We dont know where he is, but we are doing everything in our power to find him."

Another member of the counsil stood up and pointed at that Knight. "You... are dead. Incompetent fool... Take him away !!!" Two guards came and took the Knight away.

Mykael, the best of the Asina Knight after Aiman left, stepped foward. "Sir," Mykael said and bowed, "Im doing everything I can to find him. I scanned some of the floors and checked the system for logins. Apparently a figure is moving toward the prison floor and a login with Aiman's log name was made not too long ago. I also checked the frequency on the figure's body and it matches Aiman tracking signal, so Im sure its him."

"Well done, Mykael. You have yet to fail us. Go get him. Take no prisoners. Kill him with no honor..." One of the counsil said.

Mykael bowed again. "My pleasure..." He turned and walked away.

"Mykael... Dont fail us now..."

Mykael stopped at the door and looked over his shoulder. "I wont sir." He said and began walking again. He got on the radio and called the prison floor.
"I want heavy guard on Cell 227 A. Take every other prisoner to the old catacombs. Its an emergency and they have to be evacuated. Leave everything else to me. If you see Aiman, do NOT make contact, let him pass." Mykael laughed for himself and thought, "Soon Aiman, soon... Vengance !!!"

Back to Aiman...

He walked slowly to the prison floor. The whole floor was desserted. He walked towards Tobias cell. When he opened the door to where Tobias cell was, an army of guards waitting for him.

"Ahh, I knew this was too good to be true. But, why they put you to guard him ? Do you think you can stop me ? COME ON !!! I will not play around this time !" Aiman said in anger.

Ten guards...

Two guards came running as fast as they could toward Aiman. Aiman grabbed the hilt of Skye fast and took it out of its sheath and he side slash and stopped in a fighting stance. The two guards got thrown aside with a major cut on their waist.

Eight guards...

Two more came running behind those. Aiman quickly jumped behind them. As he landed he used his boosters to dash behind them. Aiman decapitate them both. He stopped in blank and backflipped behind all the other six guards remaining. Aiman charged non-elemental energy with Zero, his Arm Cannon. He transfered all that energy to his sword and used his special attack...

"KUASA PINTAS SERAAAAAAAAAANG !!!" Aiman came down with a powerful energy sword slash burning everything within its range. Three guards died in the attack, the other three were too injured to continue fighting.

"Hmph... Do you think Im gonna let you leave ?!" Aiman said. He walked towards them and just stabbed them all in the heart with Skye. He took Skye out of the last guard. Dripping in blood of his 'commrade' he walked to Tobias cell. Tobias never seen Aiman fight nor act like that and was completely shocked. Aiman openned the cell and said, "Come on, I have to take you back. I didnt want anyone of you to follow me 'cuz you dont know what you're getting into. I dont want to know who esle is with you, but I have a feeling Nacht and Musashi are here." Aiman put the bloody Skye back in its sheath and started to try and open a portal with the computer on his arm.

~clap clap clap~
"... I cant belive it... Aiman is back. Did you finally remembered your training ? Did you realized why we were trained to kill ?"

Aiman looked to the side... "Mykael !? What are you doing here ? Did they sent you to stop me ? Thats funny." Aiman laughed. "Come on Tobias, time to go home."

Mykael grabbed the hilt of his sword Fei, a samurai type sword. "Do you think Im gonna let you do that Aiman ? You are gonna die here !!" Aiman extended his arm towards Mykael and charged Zero. "Stay back, this is between you and me, let him go home !!" Aiman opened a portal for Tobias to walk through. This will close as soon as Tobias goes through it. Mykael took out a dagger and threw it at Aiman's arm. The dagger, made with Trizan and fused with some newly discovered energy, pierced Aiman's armor on his shoulder.

"Agh !!! Tobias go, hurry !!" Aiman took out Skye, still stained with blood of the guards, and got into fighter stance using just one arm to hold his sword. "Come on Mykael... You want me, you got me... Let's do this !!" Aiman said. Mykael, with an evil smirk, responded, "Let's dance..."

Tobias was torn. Either he could take the portal home, and leave Aiman where he was, or he could stay. The decision was completely his. He felt like leaving this barron world of disaster, but he knew that he should stay in this place...and above all of that, Eden was still missing, and he knew that if these people somehow harnassed the power of Eden, then it would easilly be a new revolution of evil. So he just stood up, and looked into the portal. He didnt even really feel much like time travel anyways. As he got up, a faint blue hue could be seen from him. He knew that guards were coming, any way he knew it, so his energy didnt matter.

"Im sorry bout this Aiman, but i cant go yet...not untill i get you out of here...and yes, nacht and musashi are here too, and they arent going to stop untill they find you either."

he then smiles and then replies

"besides, they have my sword...and that is something i cannot leave behind...no matter what"

Suddenly, tobias' eyes could be visible to Aiman for the first time, but they were a glowing silver. He looked beyond Mykael, and then suddenly vanished. He was now locked onto Eden, and working his way further towards it, and he was gettting very close

Tobias before he vanishes, says to Aiman: "I will be back"

"Nacht!" Musashi yells. "Aiman is in Tobias's room, and I just got a reading of an energy burst in there!"

What?? Let me see that!

Musashi hands over the device, and Nacht peers into the small moniter. The dots are now very close together, and Aiman's is moving around rapidly. She passes the little machine back to Musashi, who pockets it.

Well i was worried about attention, but we gotta get up there fast!

Nacht reaches into her cape pockets and pulls out a small silver square about 1 centimeter in diameter.

This was given to me about one hundred years ago by a mage. It contains a flame that never extinguishes. Musashi, get the lid back off of that barrel!

She slides the top half of the square back, and a red flame jumps up.
Everyone, get away!

When the party has moved back, she tosses the flame box in a slow underhand lobb over the barrel and ducks down. As the fire passes through the fumes, they ignite, sending a giant flaming ball to the ceiling. The concrete blows apart, sending smoking debris everywhere, while the barrel is blown to smithereens.

Nacht waits a bit for the cloud to dissipate and rushes over to the new opening. She peers up into the hole and sees nothing. Musashi grabs the flame box and hands it over to Nacht. She jumps up and grabs the edges of the hole and thrusts the fire up into the black. She can make out a small room of sorts.

Come on, everyone, lets get into this room and see if there is a way out.

She pulls herself up into the hole and reaches a hand down to help the next person up.

"Alright Sakky, you're first."

Musashi interlaces his fingers and gives her a boost up to Nacht's outstrectched arm. As she climbs up, Musashi sees spotlights begin to flash through the grate in the sewer system from which the party had entered as three security droids resembling small robotic spheres with cameras and laser blasters attached to them fly through the slots in the grate.

"The explosion must have alerted a few remaining sentries in the area. Hurry up!"

He gives Sakura a final push up into the hole in the roof and draws his blade.

"Sperrit! GO! HURRY!"

The security droids fire bolts at the fleeing warriors as Musashi blocks them with Luminaire, sending the bolts back at the assailants. With a quick spin and slash, the first two droids are sliced down the middle as their halves fly towards the walls and explode on contact. The third manages to escape.

"They'll be back with reinforcements. GET OUT NOW!"

Musashi focused his vision on the grate, awaiting any movement from the area above. Suddenly, the grate and the area of the ruins around it exploded in a shower of rock and dust. A large heavily armed assassin droid descended into the sewer. The droid was equipped with a laser cannon on each arm and a jet propulsion system on its back. Musashi stood his ground, waiting defensively as the rest of the party escaped into the lowest levels of the Asina building.

Meanwhile, in Miniopia...

Cobalt yawns, leaping through the trees in the forests of Miniopia. He pauses on one branch and lies down against the trunk, stretching his limbs.

He purrs slightly, talking to Fiarre as she perches on the limb above him. "Such a nice day... But y'know, I havn't seen Sperrit around lately... He's usually stolling the woods on days like this."

Fiarre chirps as an audial shrug of sorts.

"I know, Fiarre.. I havn't seen Musashi for a while either.. Well, alot of people."

The furre scratches his ear, looking around. "Wonder if they went on some kind of excursion without me... Probably when I was taking one of my catnaps.. Bastids. Ahwell, more sun to soak up for me!"

He shivers slightly as the tree gets incredibly cold, despite the warm rays of sun.

"Huh... what was that?"

Cobalt pokes the tree trunk slightly and leaps into the air with surprise as the bark suddenly turns fades to black, the tree beginning to rot. He lands on a nearby branch and gapes at the suddenly-dead tree.

"That's... not a good sign." He looks around, eyeing the other trees.

Fiarre lets out a chirp from down on the forest floor, half-covered in a bed of leaves that fell off the decaying tree.

Cobalt blinks and leaps down nearly fifty feet to where Fiarre rests, a white object in her front claws. "What's that, Fiarre?"

She chirps.

"Hrrm.. The scarves of miniopians do not fall idly... Or somthing. We should probably get this checked out." He scratches his head. "Since not many people are around, maybe Kat'd know somthing."

He then takes off into the trees again, quickly manuvering his way towards the Asina Corp. building.

Several minutes later, Cobalt leaps thru the door, finding Katana's desk and leaping up onto it.

"White scarf... Looks kinda cute. Y'lose it?"

Fiarre lets out a low-pitched chirp and butts her head against Cobbi's shoulder.

The furre snickers and strokes the back of Fiarre's neck as he waits for a response.

Katana looks at Cobbi. Walking to him from her position beside a filing cabinet.

"Nah, it's not mine..." She tilts her head, then looks at the scarf, then back to Cobbi, thinking a moment. "Dosen't seem normal for scarves to just be laying around...Nacht and the others went off to do somthing..." She paused. "Maybe we should contact them. I have this." Katana pulled out the unicorn tail comlink from beside Eden.

Miniopia...

Cobalt raises a brow and hops into a normal chair, waiting as Kat dials up the others.

Fiarre chirps and dives through the scarf, now wearing it around her neck, looking quite proud. Cobbi smirks and grabs the fire-lizard playfully, plopping her on his shoulder.

"Cute, Fiarre.. looks good on ya."

Katana wraps the unicorn hair around her hand.

"Nacht, we've found somthing you might be interested in." She paused for a moment, as if waiting for a reply, but continued without one. "A white scarf. Cobbi found it."

Tobias reappeared outside of a great testing center. He sensed Eden somewhere in the confines of the room. He walked in, and got about 5 feet in, when a few guards came into the room. "Prisoner 1335-AZ: surrender yourself, you are surrounded" Tobias didnt have time for this. Within a matter of seconds, they were casted to the ground, and Tobias continued in teh room. He turned a corner, and saw his sword, perched inside a glass container, wiht scanners scanning the blade. Tobias walked over to the container, and attempted to call the sword to him, but the glass was keeping it dormant inside. Tobias had no other alternative, but to break down the glass, jump in, and grab the sword. Alarms from all around the area started to go off, but no one came. Quickly, Tobias looked around the room, and found his Trenchcoat, and proceeded to leave. As he walked out, he saw several guards coming his way. that was a big...big...mistake.
