The demon-forged metal is hit by the gigantic blast of lightning, taking it to the ground--where the dirt far lessens the effect of the electricity, leaving the sword unscathed, if smelling of ozone.

Meanwhile, Demonic lets Bloodreign fly from his hand to slash at Dinfea's ribs while he's casting.

Dinfea notices the approaching blade, and twists his torso, as to hit the sword broadside with the useless leftarm.

Bloodreign whirls about in midair, blasting at Dinfea with a beam of crimson Chaos energy. Somewhat painful; more of a distraction than anything else, to take his attention away from FireGuardian, which begins to glow slightly.

Dinfea bends backwards in an attempt to dodge the beam, but his useless arm is too slow, and is removed completely, and lies useless on the ground.
Dinfea picks up the arm, and uses it to shield himself from Bloodreign's beam as he approaches Demonic, then he beats demonic with it!

ooc: this has taken a turn for the comedic hasn't it?

Demonic blinks as Dinfea swings the arm. It's of little import to the young warrior's mind; he forms the Katre knife that Azurel gave him, and swings it up against Dinfea's swing, lodging the weapon in the bone. From there, he thrusts his hip out at Dinfea's waist and tugs, trying to give him the old-fashioned hip toss.
