[Kiyomi]

Kiyomi nods to Sketh, "It's a good idea. Actually, I have started on that already, myself. It would be very good if we colaborated on this! You have information, and I have several theories."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx looks back at the group and shrugs, he didn't really know what was going on, being very new to Miniopia himself. He looked over at his rather intelligent wolf, who's fur was taking on a black color due to the training Zzyxx had been giving it in shadow melding.

"Ok Variah, we're gonna strike out and look for clues on our own, we'll check for the roof and take survelance and we could always shadow meld back here is we get seperated, got it?"

The wolf huffed in acknowlegement. Zzyxx looked back at the rest of the crew still present.

"I'll be back if i find anything."

With that, Zzyxx vanished intot eh shadows with Variah.

[Therin]

"The pidgeon is away, repeat, the pidgeon is away. Over."

Duck Fowler finished his whiskey and stepped back from the bar, slapping two coins down on the bartop with a sound like a muffled gunshot. In the same motion, he grabbed his dark brown bowler and whirled it up to rest on his head. He emerged from the bar and allowed his eyes to roam lazily up and down the street.

"Beta Team, positions Alpha, Delta, Zero, confirm," he said quietly, and was hailed with a chorus of "confirmed" in his earpiece. He started down the sidewalk south of the bar. "Roger that. All teams, the pidgeon is in flight, repeat the pidgeon is in flight. Move to phase Alpha, on my mark. Let's keep this clean, people, I don't want any screwups like last time. Two. One. Mark. Keep me posted with a play-by-play."

From the corner of his eye, Fowler caught a glimpse of a hobo, saluting the air in front of him, and grinned to himself. Good ol' Gunner. He didn't return the salute. Gunner would know he'd seen it. Not much went unnoticed by the eyes of Duck Fowler.

A shadow passed overhead, and Fowler looked up to see a large pair of wings, flapping mightily over the Miniopian rooftops. One of the less savory of the Miniopian upper class. Well known by his appearance, though. He was probably just being paranoid. Still, it couldn't hurt. He spoke to the microphone in the lapel of his long coat. "All teams, keep an eye out for a birdie. Operations has been keeping an eye on this one for some time now, and I don't want him shooting down our pidgeon. Confirm." Again the chorus of affirmatives. The corner of his mouth twitched upward momentarily, and then his face was deadpan once more. A Brick was in town again, and was under guard and surveillance, as always. Operations would not be pleased with him if someone unmasked their pidgeon today. There would be time for smiles once the job was finished.

[Ultrawolf]

He muttered to himself.
"Suit yourself"

He began going through his equipment. They had a point though. Can't track someone who flies. Too bad he wasn't much of a flyer himself. Ultrawolf hopped into the driver seat and headed towards their base.

"Hmm...."
Ultrawolf got out of the van and looked at the ground. Tiretracks.
He smiled to himself, got back in and began driving. Rayne was partly right. The tracks would lead the Detectives straight to him and their base. He began looking at the parked cars around until he got an idea. Oh yes. Marvelous. He parked the car and got all his gear together.
"Guess I should leave a surprise for the Detectives...just in case."
Ultrawolf smiled to himself as the periodic beeping began.

[Excel Zero]

-looks at Sketch and Kiyomi-

"I have an idea, why don't you two partner up? You can cover more ground and I can stay back and watch the agency. You two can move on with whatever leads you have"

-Walks back in and sits at his desk looking around-

[Tobias]

-meanwhile-

Tobias and Venus arrive at the end of the tracks, and the van parked by a tree. Eyeing the tree, Tobias signals for Venus to stay put, and begins to approach the van. He notices teh small beeping as he opens the back doors and sees a small device on the floor of the van. He moves closer to inspect it.

[Sketch]

"Well looks like we're partners Miss Kitty" Sketch smiled good naturedly at Kiyom.. Walking to her desk, she pulled out a guest list from the holiday party " Well lets get to work. Have you eliminated anyone from the guest list yet? If so who?"

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx and his wolf poped out of a shadow on the roof of a skyscraper just in time to see Azurel zip by. Zzyxx new Azurel to be in the fan club, but made little note him due to the fact that it wasn't uncommon to Azurel fly by. Zzyxx made a series of complicated gestures to his wolf and she shadow melded down to the street, she was sniffing out anything that could have been the man who burst into the office while Zzyxx maintained servelance from the rooftops. His plan with this system was to avoid looking suspicious, after all, stray dogs wandered the streets all the tme. Zzyxx looked around the street till something caught his elven eyes, it was another person on a different roof top who seemed to be pointing something at him. A small flash of light could be seem from thing and it was all Zzyxx needed to see to duck. The silenced bulley struck the wall were Zzyxx head had been. Zzyxx shadow melded to move unseen to the other roof top, while Variah continued to sniff around.

[Ultrawolf]

Tobias picked up a clunky device with a timer on it. The timer read 00:01.
Instead of blowing up however, when the timer reached zero a message began playing.

"Do you know what that was Detective? Explosive. Would've detonated you, The Van and pretty much anything nearby. By the time this message ends I'll be back at my base. You might be wondering who we are...what we do...who we work for. There is a time and place for everything and this is neither the time nor the place.. This was a warning. Next time there won't be a nifty message. Just alot of boom. Don't get in our way Detectives."

[Therin]

Fowler jumped as a bullet smashed into the brick wall by his ear. Not half a second later, the man beside him seemed to melt into the shadows, like he had never been there at all. The M.C.O. agent broke into a run, rattling off commands like a printing press as he went. "Code Red! Code Red! Repeat, Code Red, we have shots fired, repeat, we have a shooter in the vicinity, initialize Operation Myriad! All teams, go!"

All up and down the street, giant foam bricks emerged from alleyways and began milling around, talking to one another bumping into people, generally making a mess of midday traffic. Duck Fowler sprinted up the sidewalk, his coat flaring behind him, one hand clapped to the bowler on his head. He dropped back to a walk once he was in sight of his target, to watch from the sidelines and make sure the operation went smoothly. There was Gunner, reliable as always, a street-walking hobo calmly beckoning a figure out of the street and into an alleyway. Minutes later, the street was clear of brick clones, and a drab brown coach slipped into traffic and was on its way. Operation successful. Fowler grinned.

"The pidgeon is home to roost, boys, repeat, the pidgeon is home to roost. Light 'em if ya got 'em, and I'll see you all at the wench tonight. Operations, this is Agent Fowler. Mission Accomplished."
