Well, by destroy things I meant more along the lines of mass destruction of buildings and stuff, not killing people/animals. o.O But those things tend to get hurt when you try to destroy stuff! Hence the problem!

You could make a village out of popsicle sticks. And then blow them up with fireworks. And If you get a good camera person and a projector to replay the experience on the side of a barn. Then you'll have life size mayhem at a fraction of the cost. Mr. Green

Dear Doot,

I have been reading up on all kinds of different religions and ways of live in an effort to find a spiritual path that is right for me. I am slightly pained to find that what suits me best is more of a "Mosaic of human religion"( to quote my gf). I have found things that work for me but can't put into words how it all works together. Could you suggest any ideas on how I might reread/analyze thing so that my beliefs may become more that an instinctual haze, and something that I could explain to people?

Thank you for your help in advance,
mystified mystic

Why do your belief's have to fall into one particular religion? There are more people out there like yourself, than you may think. I am not religious. I feel most religions are silly, petty, and self indulgent. They look at what is good for the religion, not for everyone, even those not of the religion.

Granted this is my opinion, and will in no way become a debate, as I feel everyone has a right to thier beliefs, whether they agree or disagree with me, just dont push your belief's on me, and I will not push mine on you.

But I am not athiest. I believe there is something out there, what it is, I dont know, but it gives me comfort to think something is out there. Maybe there is, maybe there isnt. I believe Agnostic is what I would be considered. I like to think something else is out there for us after this physical life ends.

But if you read up on different religions, its hard to believe that one over another is the "one true and right" religion, when all thier stories are so similar, that it is scary, and they are just slightly altered because of the area's where the religion originated.

So I guess, if you truely feel you HAVE to put to words what religion you are, then research them all, and see which one you fit closest to, but I personally dont feel you should have to put your beliefs into a particular religion, just because others do. Believe what you do, be happy and comfortable in doing so, and if others dont understand, that's ok, they dont have to. These are your beliefs, no one really has to be happy with them except yourself. Mr. Green

I have already been researching different religions. And its not that I am trying to pick one of them, I have collected my beliefs from several. My problem is that whenever someone asks me what my beliefs are I am at a loss of words. Its like my heart knows what I believe but my mind can't but in into words. I just am trying to find a way to but my collected beliefs into written form so that when I am asked about them I can tell people.
