Dai watched the exchange from the moored side of the docks, leaning back against a building. Although the voices were lost on him, everyone's body language made clear the exchange. The elemental types didn't seem to have any love lost for the pirate. He didn't look like good company, flagging his pistol around like it was a toy gun, saber at his side, and that disturbing skull head. Seemed like just the kind of low down dirty underhanded sonnova sea squid he was looking for.

Dai bided his time for a few more moments and after collecting himself, promtly headed up the gang plank, directly through the elemental persons, and hopped on board to gather up a teather that had loosened in the pull of the tide on the dock's ropes. After a few quick knots, he began climbing the rigging to fix yet another loose rig.

Zzyxx elementals return carrying obseen amounts of timber, they begin to cut it with they're sharp parts and soo, there is a visible luber yard near the BloodTide. The elementals begin to use the lumber to build something.

Dai let go one hand and swung from the other. He was in the process of completing a rather difficult knot when J.R. called up to him, so he spoke around the rope for a moment.

"Yesshr, suur amn, jis haald ap a sek..." Dai finished the knot, pulled it taunt, and spit out the vocally challenging peice he'd had to secure with his jaws.

"Aye Captain, seems like your in need of a joe that can tie a decent knot on this rig anyhow, n' seein as I need a place to lay low for a bit, I think you and I can be of some service to one another." Dai finished his rigging, oberved his handy work favorably, and returned down to the deck level. He stood respectfully behind the Captain, eyeing the elementals occasionally.

"That is, if'n you'll have me."

Zzyxx Elementals begin constructing a rough looking ship. Zzyxx watches the exchange goining on between the man with the mace and J.R. and shrugs. "So Sperrit, how ya been?"

Sure! I'll be glad to 'ave you aboard mate! Ye can hang around as long as ye like. I'll just have to get ye to sign me contract and ye'll officially be a crew member of the BloodTide.

*J.R. retreats to his quarters and quickly returns carrying and parchment with him.*

Now if ye can read and agree to me terms, ye'll be good to go, Yo Ho!

2. Any vessel within 50 boat lengths is concidered an enemy vessel.

3. You are ne'er obligated to perform a request by the captain, but you may not take action against the captain, lest you be called a traitor.

Zzyxx elementals finish his ship and he goes on board and inspects it, Finding it sea worthy, he turns to J.R. "Hey Jolly Roger! Sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but i would like to request permission to join your fleet as a non-combat vessel!"

Ho ho! I'd ne'er though o' havin' a fleet before...Ye sure can be apart o' me fleet. Sail the seas bearing the Jolly Roger and if ye run into any troubles, you can count on me to help you out.

*J.R. turned away and grinned*

Soon, they might 'ave to call me Commander. Aye, that'll be a great day indeed. GA HA HA HA!

Zzyxx grins, "We have an accord! I only ask that I can fly my colors beneth yours." Zzyxx pulls a pirate hat out of his coat pocket "Hehehe, portable hole." He dawns it and he calls his elementals to man his ship. "I hereby christen this ship the Frozen Wake and it sails under the command of Jolly Roger!"
