Demonic vs. Silver Adept

[Minosheep]

Kinetic energy--negated. Handy trick. The swords move only a foot before it happens, and then there comes that period where they begin to drop, only to suddenly rise once more and return to the hands of their master, who is smirking.

"Oh, c'mon, now... that would've made this too easy if this was to the death. In any case..." He readies himself. "Your turn."

[Silver Adept]

Silver snickers. "I've been patient with ya, kid, but it seems that your swords got more brains than you do. Yer still green in this, and it shows. Prove to me that you got some skill with those things and I might take you seriously."

He snaps his fingers again, and the staff jumps back into his hands. He pushes on it from both ends, compressing it into nothing (also a very handy trick), and says, "Hit me with those butter knives of yours. If you can."

[Minosheep]

And thusly do the blades whirl as Demonic moves forth, pride injured by Silver's statement. Even before the mage is done talking, the blades are coming in to scissor him--FireGuardian aiming at the right shoulder, Bloodreign at the left thigh, set to meet somewhere inside of Silver's body.

[Silver Adept]

The two swords advance hungrily, but right before they start carving, they stop. Demonic feels something tap him on the back of the head.

"Tag. Enjoying the optics display?"

Silver's poking thing is met by a burst of sheer Chaos, seeking to enter that poking thing and warp it into sheer uselessness.

[Silver Adept]

The Chaos burst takes its offense to the staff, the poking object, and begins to warp it with precision... luckily, being the already slightly insane thing it is, having the physical disposition to match its mentality is a little off-putting, but it begins to try and straighten itself out, or adjust to the new curvature... or something. Either way, while it is most certainly tying itself in knots, I'd say it was enjoying the process.

"No help there, man," the Silver in front of Demonic says, "but I have to admit, that's a pretty cool trick."

[Minosheep]

Demonic growls... and then another wave erupts from him, splitting the ground and ripping up the grass, an outward-moving circle of yellow, large and bloodthirsty. On contact with Silver he'll get twisted about quite uncomfortably, unless the Chaos misses. As far as the illusionary Silver(s) go, well, it's enough to completely get rid of it/them.

[Silver Adept]

The Silver in front smiles as the Silver in back disappears, being closer to the Chaos wave, and says, "There's only one way to beat Chaos... enjoy it." The wave passes to him, and then through him... and it looks like it didn't bother him at all.

"Hmm. I was expecting something a little more... tingly, like eldritch horrors. Although the whole contortionism thing was pretty fun to experience." He whistles, and the staff straightens itself out and makes a beeline for Silver's hand, although trying to take Demonic's feet out from under him in the process.

Down on the ground goes Demonic, and outward go his blades, spinning from his body to reach Silver before the staff does--FireGuardian aiming to slice through Silver's ribs, Bloodreign to take out his legs.

[Silver Adept]

The two swords speed on towards that Silver, but are slowed down by the staff's recognition and interference of their path, batting at them to try and make them fly off course.

Demonic, though, feels a little washed up as a water balloon splashes right onto his midsection.

"Tag, again." the forward Silver says, even though there's no way he could have hit him with that balloon, fending off the swords as best he can.
