We all know that politicians of any side are for the most part corrupt to no end. Though it looks like this time it was one of the Repub. that got busted big time.

What this means for the face of politics I dunno. What I do know it means, is that the freakin leader of the republican party is getting a criminal photograph and getting fingerprinted. It's times like this I hope the justce system can shine.
That and you know the Democrats are gonna have a field day with this one. |

My question is why are these guys so corrupt? I mean, it's probably a combination of things, power going to their heads being one very important one. But it seems like everywhere you go, you can't escape corrupted officials. You would think that we would have all learned our lesson by now, but no. DeLay will go to jail for a while, then get out unscathed, and a while down the road, someone else will do it. The American people really need to grow some balls and devise some way to show these guys that their behavior isn't acceptable, and that we won't tolerate it any more. |

Actually it's the Republican National Comittees decree that anyone indited on anything must step down from their position to fight the inditement.
The fact is Tom DeLay did do underhanded campaign funding 3 YEARS before it was illegal.
The liberal Lawyer trying to indite him is upset because DeLay called him out on many previous biased assaults on other politicians. |
