The SmartCar and the Train

This was the result of me having to write about The Mercedes SmartCar and the Toyota Echo for a class. I want these cars to be hit by trains. This is how much I wrote before I realized I had to submit a university level assignment.

The Mercedes SmartCar and Toyota Echo: GOD THEY MUST BE HIT BY TRAINS

The journey has been a long one, but sadly it must come to an end. Puttering, coughing, gasping and wheezing for something to fill it, the poor creature fights on to reach its destination. But sadly starvation due to a drought soon introduces it to the wonderful world of inanimation once more. The car is out of gasoline, and since the wallet has suffered a similar fate with its source of nutrition (money), it cannot be refueled. The car has expired.

The ground trembles with the might of a thousand tap dancers, and the horrific scream of impending physics can be heard in the distance. “WOOOOOT WOOOOOOT! I think I can I think I can I think I can..” yelled the Little Train that Could as it pulled its cargo up the mountain. “I think I can I think I can I think I can – wait, what is that?” pondered the Little Train, spotting something in the distance. “Why, that’s a Mercedes SmartCar on the road! If I don’t stop, I’ll hit it!” The Little Train that Could applied his breaks with all his might, releasing a squeal so deafening that the eardrums of a nearby fetus shattered. The squeal was short lived however, and was followed by a loud snap as the brakes broke. The Little Train continued to travel at 90 kilometers per hour, giving it a magnificent force due to its immense weight in comparison to the Meredes SmartCar.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” it screamed as it charged at the car with a constantly increasing velocity (the train was travelling down an incline) – that is it screamed until it hit the Mercedes SmartCar, allowing it to redefine the word “subcompact”. Friction eventually brought the Little Train to a stop, remnants of the car stuck in its newly applied cow catcher.
