OK I live at home with my brother and my mom and dad. Last christmas I got a PS2, which was a big deal for me b/c I've never had anything other than gameboys before. Out of the godness of my heart I sharede my PS2 with my brother. Now whenever I wanna play a game i take his out and put it in the case. But he always throws mine (out of the case) on the floor. I've had the final staw today. Yesterday he was playing Gauntlet and threw my Fatal Frame II on the floor. The dog got a hold of it and scratched it all up. To make matters worse I don't know anyone else who has the game and I was one - ONE - chapter away from beating the game. I've worked really hard on this and I take all my RPGs seriously, espically when I put 18+ hours of gameplay into it. Besides this isn't the first time it's happened b/c it happened with Final Fantasy IX too. What should I do?

You should tell your brother that unless he starts respecting your property, he can't use it. Tell him that if he doesn't start casing your games like you do his, he can't use the Playstation... Kitty

Completely agree.
Just cut him off until he learns to take better care of your things.
It's not his -right- to your property.
As far as the game is concerned,
you should try renting it to finish that last chapter.

Hehe.. Black mage has a record of taking the game out of the PS2 (which is his) and putting it in the box of the next game he is playing.. So when you get around to try to play a game its like tracking down Carmeon Sandiego to get the game you want using all the game/case cookie crums system. Smile

Its easy enough to disable the system when your not using it. remove the memory cards when you leave - but them in yoru wallet or purse. Problem solved, no one will play a game with out their saves - especially gauntlet.

That's what I do with my computer. XD my sisters and mother come in my room at night when I'm sleeping and start typing, so I set a password that locks the computer up until i get on it again. XD

Yeah he used to do that too. But then i complained about that and nw he just leaves them on the floor. I've treid takeing the Playstation (b/c it's a slim it's easily portable) but then he complains to my 'rent and thay're like "Don't be mean to your brother let him play." And i've told them about the games and thay're like "Well you should check and make sure your games aren't on the floor"

If you still have the game that the dog mangled, you should show your parents and tell them that the dog got a hold of it because he left it on the floor. And I agree, you shouldn't let him play until he learns not to treat your stuff that way. You should ask him how he would feel if you threw his stuff around and didn't care about it.

And Ultra's right...you should just try renting a copy of the game to finish it if you're so close to the end.
