Let's start with the fact that the team that beat the Yankees won the world series. w00t! Well to be honest, the only bit of the WS I watched was the last inning of game 7. San Fran and the Angels... I was really intereted in watching... I had better things to do (NFSHP2). But I was happy the Angels won. For one, they beat the Yankees!
Then on to football!!!
Of course I'm going to start with:
DENVER WINS!Yes again Denver shows they are one of the best teams in the NFL. Beating the Super Bowl Champs in a game where the Pats didn't even have a drive that lasted more then 7 plays.
I said it once I'll say it again... Anyone can score, but defence wins!
Oakland Loses!
This is good for me being a Broncos Fan. AFC West is currently the toughest division in the NFL right now. It's going to be interesting to see how these four teams end up in the end.
Atlanta Wins!
Well I'm not a huge falcons fan, but I'm glad they beat NO. Vick is a pretty good Q and I think he could turn into a "best in the league." He just needs some experience. Yesterday was only his 8th start. I see great things!
Dallas Loses!
Well I don't like Dallas, but I do Like Emmit, and yesterday he set the NFL record for most yards rushing, surpassing Walter Payton. Congrats Emmit!
And what Sunday would be complete without...
Cincinnati loses!
After the stunning fact that the Bangels were actually winning at the half, they choked and ended up losing to the Titans. Way to go Cinci! |

Truly an impressive day for sports indeed. I was happy to see sucha wonderful world series this year. It almost feels like MLB is trying to make amends to fans about the potential walkout by giving us one of the best post-seasons EVER.
As for Emmit, the guy did it. And if you've never played football, the fact that he played so long that he could break such a record is a testament to him. |

I agree with you totally... I played a year in HighSchool. After that, didn't have the time b/c I was working all the time.
College I went to didn't have a team to play on. |
