Yes it's true right now the Blade-Visual Novel Engine is up for free download. Essentially you can creat games just like the japanese date sim games and whatnot I believe.

Anyone whose good at coding and have great image resources could really have some fun with it. Not to mention another tool that PO could use if it wants. |
