Arena Football - OH yeah, No BB for me!

You know... When football season is over, I get to the point where I really don't watch a lot of sports. I don't like basketball and well... they just don't show enough Hockey games on TV. Well, NBC (I think) in my area is showing Arena Football every weekend now. This is great for me b/c Football is my favorite sport to watch and Arena Football is much faster pace and much higher scoring.

Georgia has a team called the Force. Their first game was Sunday. The beat the Colorodo Crush 44-40.

This is the Force's 2nd year and last year they didn't do to bad.

The AFL (which is in it's 17 year) plays a 16 game season, 8 home 8 away. Just like the NFL. Some of the major rule differences for those that don't know.

Field is only 50 yards long and about 25 yards wide. No out of bounds, no punting, and any missed fieldgoal can be run back b/c of a net that surrounds the area around the uprights.

Anyway. It's not that expensive compared to the NFL. Seats against the wall (basically against the glass if you were playing hockey) are only like $60 for the 25 yard line (midfield). I will probably go see a couple of games this season then if I like it, I may get season tix next season. They aren't that expensive considering.
