The War for a Land

150 years ago there once lived a powerful demon sorcerer, Kaiden who created the five Solus Gems that held power over the elements earth, fire, wind, ice and death. With these gems he attempted to destroy the land of Brion. The demon would have achieved his goal but with a great evil such as Kaiden roaming, a group of brave men and women rallied together and slew the demon but with his final breath, Kaiden cast a spell that killed the heroes and scattered to Solus Gems.

150 years earlier a group of foolish clerics banded together to raids the demon Kaiden, with thoughts of being able to control the sorcerer clouding their mind. The demon, upon resurrection killed the clerics and started his new campaign to once again destroy Brion. With this great evil now loose on the world, the innocent are looking for their new saviors, their new heroes.

Diablo was relaxing in the mid summer's heat, the wind blowing slightly across his body. The fire demon was sitting downwind of the castle Bayle, which was a bustling city with the reputation of the biggest market in all the land. Even though there were rumors of the demon Kaiden roaming the world they merchants and all looking to make money continued their lives as usual.

A man clad in green and brown robes approached Diablo from behind, he moved silently but wasn't attempting to try and sneak up on the winged demon.

"Greetings, demon. I was wondering if this was Castle Bayle?"

Diablo shot up, startled by the human who had snuck up on him so effortlessly. The winged demon looked the man over once. The man seemed to be in his mid thirties, Brown hair, blue eyes, average build and a odd snaking scar from across his left temple to his bottom right jaw.

"It is, now be on your way mortal!" Growled Diablo

The man chuckled slightly and headed towards to Bayle

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx dropped down from a rafter near Diablo.
"You needent be so wound up, master demon. Honestly, who wants to kill you that badly?"
Zzyxx looked over at DIablo and gave him a sidelong smirk.

[Diablo]

"You can never tell anymore. Ever since the demon Kaiden, humans have been known to attack more often."

The demon donned his sword; patting it to be sure it was secure. He looked towards the castle; the odd man had disappeared, possibly ran off the main road and into he woods.

“So, what brings you to Bayle? Here to trade or you here to find out about the bounties they have posted here? That’s what I’m here for, though most are just horse thieves it pays well”
