W00t a localized translation of the real FF IV, aka FF IV Hard Type, not the Easy type we recieved labled as FF2. The music in some spots is quite noticibly better, but it suffers from the classic gba fuzz. Some of the sound effects have been replaced and graphics revamped. The new mode 7 airship view is much nicer looking than in the old one, the ground looks a lot better, and the battle scenes a lot prettier. Aside from the good the game is buggy sometimes slowing down, the remember function for battles doesnt work, and sometimes you get double attacks. The difficulty is a bit tougher as this is based on Hard Type and theres new items and abilities. Apperently also in this version after a certain point you open up 2 new dungeons as well as the abilities to use all of the characters but Tellah again. Imagine the amount of magical damage you can do with Rydia and Porom in your party. But anyways I'm at the Tow of Zot and so far I like the changes that are made.

I picked it up at Best Buy today, since they were still out of Animal Crossing. I can't wait to fire it up and relive the experience. I was around 15 when it first came out, and I must have watched a buddy of mine play it for 20-30 hours. Later I got my own copy and finished it, but that was many moons ago. Here's hoping a good port of FF3 (6) makes it out soon, that's one of my favorite games of all time.

I want this game but Game Stop didn't have it so I got me a copy of One Piece on GBA...THey were also out of Kirby.

Una has it though so I may jack his copy.

Oh, and it's a pretty good game. That I don't have a ROM of.

now they are remaking FF III for DS

no words on FF V or VI
