Well - my recent trip to New York has been one I will never, EVER forget and I really need to thank all of my friends who were able to make it.
I spent my birthday there. I spent New Year's there. And one of the biggest events in my life happened there.
On December 30th, outside the Metropolitan Opera House in Manhatten, NY, Chris (known to most of you as Osiris), stooped to one knee and asked me to marry him while presenting to me one of the most beautiful and meaningful rings I have ever seen/had.
I'm still swooning and reeling from it all and am as excited as ever! Along with saying yes came the entire thought process of "there's so much to do!"
The date will probably be somewhere in October and I bought my first bridal magazine at Grand Central Station! Underpants and my friend Danielle and I were all over the thing on the train while Chris and his friend Warren sat across from us asking to see what we were giggling at from time to time.

Congratulation Doot & Osiris, some how when I read your birthday thread and Sciler was saying you have some news, I got the feeling that your bf proposed you on your birthday, my instinct was right, I'm so excited and happy for you guys.. congrats again!!
