There is a reason for the lack of updates between the last one and this. We were working (or shall I say Shino was) on creating an interface to make it easy and tidy and I must say he has done a spectacular job at it. We've added some more affiliates at the bottom of the page. Look for that layout and maybe to the front page to change just a little.

We are currently working on closing up all open orders for new PO's (the end is in sight). We've had a couple of them waiting on feedback but we won't let that hinder our forward motion.

You may notice the front page has a new hue to it. Matching the rest of the site respectively. And I got a chance to update the rotating banners up top. I'd like to take this time to tell you that there is a large majority of PO's (almost all - save for people who are getting remade) uploaded into the rotating database. So if you have a Pocket Otaku the chances are very likely that you are in the rotation. (Guess it requires a lot of clicks of the refresh). It is totally random, so no playing favorites on our part.

Fathers day the Sunday before last and I treated mine to something the entire family (being him, myself and my sister - Sakura on the site). I took him to a Madstone Theater where they were showing Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. Needless to say he loved it, and honestly I have him to thank for my love of anime AND cartoons.

In other news, we seem to be trucking towards Anime Weekend Atlanta and the first registration list has been sent in. Nineteen registrations! We've signed everyone up under the group of Pocket Otaku for the special price of $15. We currently have three rooms booked (but may need more) Not all of the registrations desire to stay at the hotel since they live locally. We've got a lot planned, since it is also the birthday of Pocket Otaku. So you better believe we have to throw a birthday bash.
