Many things happening, but not much to see

We've had a lot of stuff going on around the PO homeland, but a lot of it you might not notice to much.

One thing is that we now have a forum that allows us to post to the front page of the site. So if you are on the front page, there is a topic just like this, and if you are reading this within the forum, it's also on the front page. Yay for making things easier on the admins!

We have also had a lot of user accounts that have been spam accounts that just fill in the website address and hope someone looks at the profile of that user and clicks on their website. In the past, we have been just deleting these accounts and banning the emails they make them with. We can ban by IP Address, but it's very hard to get that info. Until now. The spam accounts will start to dwindle away into nothingness as we now track IPs on registration and we can ban that IP if necessary. The only reason we are doing this is to do away with spam accounts. Normal PO members are not affected.

POdcasting is still in the process of being perfected. Unastrike has been killing himself trying to get things to sound right with the files. We are hoping to have our first test POdcast out very soon.

bleh to spam accounts. Sometimes I don't see why people bother--I never look at someone's profile until they introduce themselves. Or start posting.
