Heh heh... just a ref to High Fidelity about Belle & Sebastian. I went and saw these guys in Chicago this past weekend. They released a new album a couple of months ago called The Life Pursuit. Effing great. I recommend seeing these guys if they pop up in your town. They're touring with the New Pornagraphers if you're looking for some Canadian flavah.

Very tasty!
Thing I like about Bell and Sebastian is they are pretty consistant with their style Boy with the Arab Strap and Mayfly and then turn around and put out a part of switch up like White Collar Boy and Suki in the Graveyard (tempo/overall feel) and you can't help but like it!
I hope to be able to check them out! |
