I'm putting this in the Soapbox because this just seems to me a Soapbox kind of issue...
Tom Cruise and Isaac Hayes are both mad at a recent South Park episode making fun of Scientology. You can read the articles below:
Tom Cruise is mad!
Isaac Hayes is mad!
Basically, Tom Cruise has threatened to cancel all promotion for his upcoming film, Mission Impossibly 3, which is being produced by Paramount, who also owns Comedy Central, if the episode is re-aired. And Isaac Hayes has just flat-out quit South Park as a result. He's being called a hypocrite since he didn't have issues cashing paychecks when the show was making fun of OTHER religions.

Well acourding to this it was a rumor, but then again I would deny throwing a bitch temper tantrum if was cruise too lol.

I just think its funny how Hayes didn't have a problem ripping on christianity, or islam, or mormons, or gays, or jews, or goths, or hippies, or the gov, or mexicans, or republicans, or democrats, or conservatives, or liberals, or scientists, or teachers, red necks, and the list goes on....But make fun of the obviously bogus "religion" Hayes follows and they have gone to far  |

I remember something quite funny that had happened a while ago.
During an episode of a particular sitcom, we got full view of a woman getting banged, and later on we see another, fat couple, undressing and getting ready to get it on.
The girl getting banged got zero complaints.
Seeing the ass of the fat man for 2 seconds got over 150. |

My guess is that Hayes was pressured to leave the show by other members of Scientology. Since he quit a month after it aired. |

That was exactly the point that Trey Parker and Matt Stone were making. They also go as far as to say that it is this sort of hypocritical behavior that is what really breeds bigotry. |
