Well in the past five months I have averaged a bad thing a month...well they happen when they happen but they have balanced out to once a month since Nov.

My living arragnments fell through (twice)
I lost my job
I lost my GF

four down and now the kicker....

My father is kicking me out of the house even though he has no problem with me being there!!! WTF!!!
The problem is that in the last three I have not gotten employed of enrolled in school. Now I can't enroll in any further schooling until I get my GED which I am taking the test for in May (which is the soonest that I can take it). And I am very limited to the hours that i can work due to the fact that the buses in my area run on a limited schedule. On top of that I have been trying to get a job or eroll in schooling without asking for anything from him.
The problem is that my step-mom June has been complaining to him about me being in the house a lot, and it is cause a little distress in his marrage. No dad didn't say a thing when June's 24 yr old son moved in with them last fall and cost then $3,500 with nothing to show for it.

So the bottom line is that I have to leave. And in my fathers own words..."You will go on to have your own family one day, but I want to keep her for the rest of my life." Now I understand his point which makes this even harder cause my dad deserves to be happy after all that he has done for me, but I moved back in becasue that was my LAST OPTION.

I have nowhere to go and no income as of yet. my only option is for me to ask for his help in setting up a place for me to live. Hell he has said countless times over the past three years " if you every need ANYTHING just ask and I will do all that I can to help you out."

Well thank you all for listening to me. I know that I have turned this into a rant of sorts but I have nowhere else to vent.

Your vents are always welcome here Kothar.

You only average one bad thing per month? One week before I graduated high school my car blew it's engine. Two days after I graduated my house burned down. I lost everything. I had to live in my broke down car with the clothes I was, thankfully, too lazy to take out of my car. I nearly lost my job because I had to walk to work and I only had so many changes of clothes. Plus my boss didn't like me anyway. I would sooner die than move back in with my mom. Judging by the fact that I'm writing this you can see where that went.
I eventually bought a bicycle so I could get to work faster. I rented a crappy trailer out in the sticks. It was a very long process, there were times when I thought I would never get out of that place. Finally I saved up enough to rent a better place closer to work. Unfortunately, as soon as I moved in I lost my job. As soon as I was one week late on the rent the landlord evected me. It wasn't just me though. It was my soon to be wife and our newborn out on the street again.

It's tough man. I'm not going to try to sugar coat it for you. But with determination and hard work you can make it. I'm living proof of that.
And you don't even have to have any talents or skills. Again, living proof!

Hang in there. Things will turn around eventually if you just keep at it.

I just had to rant cause come on after have nowhere else to go in december dad let me move back in, but what the fuck am I to do? I mean you at least had a car to live out of.

Do you have a job now? I understand you lost one and you're still in school but do you have any source of income? If so do you have any friends that might let you sleep on their couch for a small amount of compensation?

On the flip side, have you expressed any of this to your dad? Does he know that you'd love to live on your own but right now you have no where else to go? Have you explained to him that you understand his reasoning that you will eventually move on and that he wants to keep his wife, but you really need his help right now, if just for a little while longer?
