ok, ok I now that I am not going to blow off any steam here but this may turn out to be a rant so i am posting it here so that it doesn't have to be moved later for it being one.
OK here I go.....My life is good again. not just good really really really good.
First off I have worked things out with my father and am now living happily at home with my parents. Even though my step mom is a near fanatical christan, and I am a very "go my own way" pagan. but thats ok for now cause she doesn't know that I'm now christan.
Second I have a job again. I am working for a pool company near the house. so far I have been working since monday and both days have been 11 hrs a day. and I will be working 40 hr/week at 7.5 and 10-20hr/wk over time at 11.25.....so yeah lots of money there.
And then there is the very probable chance that me and my ex-gf are going to get back together again. which I really hope happens but I will have to wait adn take things one step at a time there.
ok I'm done I just had to scream in the happyness for a moment. |

I'm so happy for you man. See, I told you it'd all work out!
Not to burst the bubble of happieness, but beware of the ex-gf. Don't get me wrong, I hope you two do get back together and are very happy. However, I feel compelled to warn you to enter into this relationship with a bit of caution. Don't leave your heart out to be broken again.
That being said, congrats man! I'm very happy for you and wish you the best of luck! |

I'm glad to hear things are better for you Kothar. Sometimes when I read some people's rants, it's hard for me to comment. I usually don't say only "Oh I'm sorry you are going through that" or anything like that b/c people usually get enough of that. If I have advise, I sometimes give it.
So ... I will comment on your current situation.

Getting along with your parents, in my opinion, is a necessity. However this is not hard for me to say b/c I have always gotten along with my mother. (My father passed away when I was 3). But it's great to know that you have worked things out with them. Your family is the most important piece of your life! Keep it close and keep things in order.
Also, I assume you meant "not Christian?" If you did mean "now" I'm interested to know what made you change your view of faith.

Jobs are good! Glad to see you are working and that you have something that pays well and you enjoy. Keep it up!

Go very slow Kothar. There are exceptions to every rule of course, but in my experience and what I have seen with friends. Getting back together with an ex can be very hard and USUALLY doesn't work.
But, as I said, exceptions to every rule. Marysana and shadokastur tried 3 times before they ended up together. Now they are married and have a beautiful baby boy.
So I say go for it, but go slow and be careful!

First I would like to thank you all for being here for me from the bad to the very recent good.
Second I know that I have to take things very carfully with the ex-gf, but it has been 2 years since we were together and 98% of the feeling are still there for both sides. but either way she has asked me not to ask her out until she gets back from her 1st semester in college. I agreed with her even though I dont think that I can wait that long. but I know that if she comes back from college and we both feel the same then we should go for it. |
