SEGA Studios announced today that it is developing Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz for the Nintendo Revolution. The game is forming part of the company's Electronic Entertainment Expo lineup and promises new puzzle levels and party games that are specifically designed for the Nintendo Revolution controller.
The game's single-player puzzle game will allow AiAi and friends to jump for the first time in the series, by flicking the Revolution controller in an upward motion. The party-game mode includes some brand new fairground minigames, including ring toss and whack-a-mole, which will also make use of the Revolution's movement-sensitive controller.
Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of marketing at SEGA of America, commented "Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz will present a mind-boggling array of gameplay innovations that will excite and challenge gamers while pushing the boundaries of imagination forward."

Hmmm Now if only they could somehow put force feedback with the controller, then release a straight bar to put between 2 controllers, then release a Bowflex REVOLUTION and lift 'virtual weights' with the 'virtual console'.....I'm probably just crazy though. |
