I found this while browsing EB's website.
Front Mission Online
And it's listed for PC but not PS2? And there's a monthly subscription fee? Interesting to say the least. I could not find the PS2 version anywhere on EB's site. This is a niche title, and though I loved Front Mission 3 and 4, I don't know if I'd be willing to pay a monthly fee to play an online strategy game..
Thoughts? |

This was slated for release last year on the PS2, but it got canned... I hadn't heard about a PC release at the time, so this is surprising to me.
I'm skeptical at best. And I'm a fan of the games. But like any MMO, I'll give it a shot. |

The great Front Mission 3 got largely overlooked in the UK and no publisher decided to pick up Front Mission 4 in europe. I was largely disappointed by this and I was still hoping it would one day get a UK release.
Front Mission would be enjoyable online with a good opponent, but I don't think i'd be willing to pay on a monthly basis. |

Yeah, the new Slim PSTwo's are easy to work around, at least in the US. The Swap Magic discs you can buy come with plastic tabs to fool the system into thinking the door is shut. Playing imports couldn't be easier. |
