OK so it's that time of year again... and rather than have 3000 new topics talking about stuff that's going to happen over the next week, I figure we can just have E3 topics. Since there would probably be too much info all over the place for just one topic, we can make one for each major player.

Major things for the 360.
First, GTAIV will be for 360 released along with the PS3 version (not afterwards) and will have exclusive content through Live.
And Halo 3 has been officially announced. |

I'm not watching anything until I've downloaded the press conferences, I've seent he Sony one, the Ninty one is almost done, but I'll watch that in the morning (its half past midnight here) I'm just waiting for the Microsoft one to be downloadable before going to bed. |

I like what I see so far.
I downloaded the Lost Planet playable demo from Live, it seems very passable as an action game so far. The two levels I played are fairly similar though, I hope they gave the game some variety in the later stages. Piloting the mechs is a riot.
Halo 3 was not really a surprise announcement. I'm glad Bungie is getting the time they need to do this one right. Halo 2 suffered in the rush to store shelves by November 9, let's hope they don't make the same mistake with H3. I can't wait for the multiplayer..

Anyone see the new Gears of War trailer or the footage of Cliffy B playing it at the MS conference. The more and more I see from the game, the better it looks. And I like the new chainsaw weapon for those close encounters.
Too Human looks like it could really have the potential to be completely amazing.
I know the first game didn't live up to the hype (but I still very much enjoyed it), but the video for Fable 2 looked like they might bring some very interesting things. |
