I, much like Tycho Brahe, have accuired a copy of Guitar Hero.
I must say this game went from experimental to easily my top 3 video games EVAH...I say 3 cause I know there's one or two out there that are like supah awesome that I don't want to hurt their feelings.
Either way this game is better than sex. And not your boring sex but the sex *I* have with all the leather and ropes and body piercings.
Anywho..Go buy it...Oh wait you can't...Isn't officially released till the 8th.

Admittedly, life has been a bit sweeter in the una/GAAZ household. I hold Guitar Hero responsible.
I saw this guy in action back at AWA and, to be perfectly honest, thought it to be a bit cheesy. I'm also not the biggest fan of Red Octane. I didn't leave with a great impression of the game.
But I am a sucker for music games and wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. The lineup of tracks is what primarily led me back to it.
I could go on and on about this one, but I'm going to paraphrase with this:
Extremely fun to play.
Great presentation and playability.
and... yes... I do feel like a rock star.
Red Octane needs to expand on this franchise... and make Drum, Bass, and Mic Hero. Then, put them all together. Could you f'n imagine getting 4 peeps together and each of you rocking out with a different instrument? |

Well, the developer (Harmonix) is the same developer that made Karaoke Revolution for Konami, so I can see it as a possibility. And as for the Bass aspect, they should have taken a page from Guitar Freaks and made "Bass Mode" a choice when selecting a song. Perhaps by GH2. If they do make a drum simulator, I just hope they'll make it also compatible with the Yamaha DTXpress drum kit (DrumMania can be played with the kit via a MIDI-to-USB adaptor).
I got to play it at AWA (I was one of the guys with hand cramps after trying to play Iron Man Expert), and I'm buying that sucker today (it should be in my local GameStop today, I hope I hope I hope). |

I recently have been able to play the game and itdoes have major "rawkage". Plus it reminded me of some old songs I loved when I was younger but I forgot about them some where along the way. Even now I'm compiling a CD with the songs. *tear memories* LOL. You've gotta get it. |

I keep forgetting to post...I got the game the day it well and properly came out (I do not buy from Best Buy because of unethical business/personnell practices). Already beaten it on Easy and Medium, all 5-star reviews except Bark at the Moon. Working through Hard now. Dreading what'll happen to my hand when I get to Expert. |

Tobs and I picked it up the other day and wow! This game is already consuming most of my life right now! It's fun, it's challenging as hell, and the songs are fantastic! It's even making me want to go out an get a REAL guitar. |

GUITAR HERO RULES MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! My brother got this game after playing it at the Digital Life convention and we (me and all of my siblings) LOVE this game!! We got Ming and Tobs hooked on it too!! I can't stop playing!! I will admit, I play on easy mode, but who the heck cares, it's still TONS of fun!!!
