So I'm downloading a bunch of Rednex songs and I see one in my download list I've never heard of, called "Wish You Were Here". So I look and can't find that Rednex did this song. So I take a listen and now I have to find out who sings this. Finally, I find out it's a band called "Blackmore's Night". Anyone else heard of them? Or have a similar story of finding a band by accident? |

My friend sent me a buttload of Blackmore's Night. I really like them. They're a great mix of electric and acoustic renaissance (especially the song "Writing on the Wall"). |

Yeah, Blackmore's Night is awesome. It was started by Reggie Blackmore from Deep Purple and his wife, Candace Night (whose voice is supurb btw) years and years back. Believe it or not, they came to the GA Renaissance Festival last year and wanted to perform here this year, but of course, the budget was too small to hire them. |
