Ok, first of all If you've only heard "Smooth Criminal" go buy/listen to a copy of ANThology and then decide to pass judgement on AAF. AAF continues to be my favorite band despite the fact their last CD was ages ago. I can't help it! Their songs are fun to listen to and hella catchy.
ANYWHO, Their new CD comes out July 18th. It's been awhile since I've decided to get a CD as soon as it came out (ex. Demon Days by Gorillaz) but I can say I will be there on the day of release to get my grubby hands on a copy. AAF's got one of the singles off their new CD up on their Myspace for those interested the link is here. The song's title is "Forgive and Forget". |

Woah now, I t was an AAF CD promenently featured at the front of the store with all the other new CDs. In hind dight, I dunno what the cover art looked like or what it was called, I just assumed it was teh new one. |

So I've been listening to Up in the Attic alot and I've decided I like this CD. The sound is a bit different, it's much more mellow, but it's also a Maturing of the Band's style. I enjoy it very much. The whole CD is pretty good too, it's usually rare to find CDs where you find yourself liking every song but I think that's the case with Up in the Attic.
I think Crickets and Forgive and Forget will be the songs they promote as Singles. Although I do love Around the Block, Consti2tion, and Sleepwalker as Single material. She's Only Evil ends the CD very well. Very fitting.
