NFS Hot Pursuit 2 - HS this game is cool

Picked this up yesterday.

What an incredible racing game. I haven't seen a good arcade racer since RR5. This just blew me away. Expecially the unique use of the cameras and the "Matrix" button. Good stuff. 49 cars... lots of tracks, man this game is going to suck me in...

but but.. I still need to beat Kingdom hearts.

Oh well... I needed a new racer.

It's out for all 3 systems... but from what I hear, it is best on PS2. Appearently the people that made the game on PS2 are not the ones that ported it to the other two machines. There is supposed to be loss of speed... or it doesn't feel like you are going as fast as you are. I can tell you that the PS2 one is just outstanding.

i remember the old Hot Pursuit. I still have it, actually o_O i remember they were trying to figure out a way to get the trees to look right without spending processor power rendering the leaves. (or something... i guess thats extraneous information. I tend to do that a lot... -_-; .)

Anyhow, I'll try to look at this one next time I get the chance. Textbooks are really biting into my "money i have" stash. *teh flee*

I'm not big on racing games, but after watching Sciler play it I must admit...IT RAWKS! Little things like the cars kicking up dust and making it hard to follow and the all so important short cuts...flawless. If you like racers, especially the RR+NFS series, then this is a must have. Atleast til GTA:VC comes out.

Its not out yet on PC, but will be soon.

AS for me, having always been a huge NFS fan since the first..when we would have contests who could get the best wrecks ~sigh~ happy memories.....

I find the 360 matrix style turn pretty useless, same goes for the fireball that shows you a big part of the track and some obstacles. The 360 thing is just for giggles (see the action?), and the fireball thing is something of a little kicknack.

Meh, game is ok. But for some reason it lags as hell (bumpy) on the title screen, with those little mini-videos.
