Ok, so im gonna upgrade my RAM and i need some help. I am just about clueless when it comes to computer hardware. My computer is pretty old, its a Dell Dimension L800r its got a PIII. i dont know what the motherboard is, so i dont know if you can help me with this. its got two slots both currently taken by 128MB sticks, about 5 inches, im guessing thats means its the 184 pin, but like i said im clueless. If you guys have any advice, good sites, or anything else, i need some help.
ive done some looking online and i have found
Patriot Extreme Performance 512MB stick about 55 with shipping
K-Byte 512MB stick about 59 with shipping.
but i dont know if Patriot or K-Byte are good brands, and i dont even know if the 184 pin type is the right one. |
